BBS RS 301 (progress UPDATE)

Recommended Posts

I'm a sucker for punishment. Paul Horrocks has kindly agreed to be parted with his BBS RS 301s Thanks Paul. All that remains is a quick refurbishment (heavy irony on the quick) and this 1 of 500 sets of 301 splits should be looking cool. To keep me motivated and to document progress I thought i'd start a refurb thread.

Loony!

So what are you planning on doing yourself and what is going to be done professionally?

And can I buy them for £500 when you've done?

yeah, I know I wasn't going to sell them unrefurbished, but I think you'll all agree they've gone to a good home, and Gareth made me a sensible offer, and I really needed the money for Woerthersee.

Do em Black!!!!!

BTW, that 4th rims I was on about, it's off the rear of my porsche RS's, so it's about 1/2" wider than those. both of the front ones are monged.

you can have it anyway, as agreed, so now you can try and see if 8"s will fit, possibly 8.5"s.

so much for me needing the money though, I bought 2 sets of 18" porsche twist splits instead!! another refurb project to tackle.

Apparently so, I have 2 sets, I made the mistake of letting a third set go :(

OSV, only 500 sets made?...........i got a set but i dint know they were that limited

It's probably the same 500 sets going round and round in circles being fitted to different cars!

My word, you really do have an alloy wheel problem OSV - still nice to see em staying in the Corrado circle though! Not a huge fan of them, but appreciate their rareness! :D

Who supplied the deeper rims? Can they make them to a specific depth?

Very nearly there now. Centres are Magic Black, slim billet centre caps and chrome badges.
