OSV 0 Posted November 7, 2005 Cheers for the comments guys i'm really pleased with them. The dishes are indeeed replacement original BBS items sourced from Germany there are 2 standard sized dishes and 2 genuine half inch wider dishes for the rear resulting in a wheel 8x17 ET27. The bolts are stripped and chromed, the centres stripped and refinished in VW Magic Black and there are new slim fit billet caps and badges. I only got 3 rims with the wheels, one was too badly damaged the other 2 were stripped machined and polished and came up pretty good. Pic attached. Phil K 0 Posted November 7, 2005 Dribble 8) If I had the money this is what my C would be wearing... but then if I had the money I'd be putting them on a VR too ;)

OSV 0 Posted November 10, 2005 Chees guys, the wheels look stunning IMO, its a bit of a gamble but I think they should give the car attitude. With swapping between the 2 sets I hope to give the car something of a Jekyll and Hyde personality LOL
matthewb1985 0 Posted November 10, 2005 good job they look great was looking at wheels like these at ed38. love em
chubbybrown 0 Posted November 12, 2005 Thanks for the insight OSV, were the bolts easy to remove? Im always worried about one not wanting to come out or stripping the thread. Were these cheaper sourced in Germany rather than using someone here?
OSV 0 Posted November 12, 2005 The RS have a nut and bolt arrangement and aren't threaded only RMs have the captive threads.
chubbybrown 0 Posted November 12, 2005 Ok thanks OSV mine are 15' 4 stud ones, so would they be Rm probably?
