ZippyVR6 0 Posted November 13, 2005 Right I think ive done bad. Pursuaded my brother that Mollyslip gearbox treatment is ace stuff, as my uncle had sworn by it for years. It went in the top of his gearbox in the plug next to where it meets the engine on his Mk 3 golf and now the clutch slips and there is oil dripping out of the gearbox at the bottom????????????????????? what Have I done and can it be fixed? have I just oiled the clutch plate? sciroccotune 0 Posted November 13, 2005 You mean in the big ish hole that has a green screw cap on it? If so that means that you have lubricated the clutch!! (not good) may be able to burn it off but quite often the clutch gets impregnated with the oil etc and can not be saved. Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
