Tempest2 0 Posted November 5, 2006 3 Karmann coupes (Mk1 and Mk2 Rocco, Mk3 Rocco aka Rado), all on SORN at the moment (wintertime), all 3 now only used when it's sunny or going to meets. Daily hack are my legs, as I fotunately live close enough to work to be able to walk each day. At work I drive an Escort van  Tempest
vr6storm 0 Posted November 5, 2006 my 993 is my best car so to speak and my Corrado is meant t be the daily hack, tho find myself drivng the 993 more than the Corrado, tho was driving it yesterday and thought to myself there's no way I could ever sell this, had it for over 5yrs now and prior to that the longest I kept a car was 2 1/2 years

CazzaVR 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Daily driver, unless it's ill, then I use the vRS. Usually use the vRS for longer drives, going away etc- really love it- comfort and a bit of oomph when you need it too.
oxfordpaul 0 Posted November 5, 2006 My best car, only wish I had a garage! I have a company Merc C class but it's sooooo boring compared to the Rado and it doesn't even have heated seats!

CrazyDave 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Every day for travel to work. An assortment of pool cars at work. Including an A3 2.0TDI with a DSG gearbox. Would love a DSG in a Corrado (future project maybe). Golf 4 GTI for the family car. Maybe my dads 16year old Mk2 Golf when the VR6T project really starts.
gsbellew 0 Posted November 5, 2006 We've more cars at home than I know what to do with  My 91 16v Corrado is my daily hack and does the creche run in the morning and the weekly shopping trips etc, My G40 is enjoying semi-retirement coming out for shows and track days, My 8v GTI engined mk1 Caddy is used for the recycling run, The wife's Ibiza is used for the days when I'm feeling lazy and dont want to drive, the rest of my cars have no real purpose in life (1 & 1/2 Corrado's and 2 Polo coupe's)
biggerbigben 0 Posted November 5, 2006 Ok well.. (Tdi gearbox should be all in by next weekend :) ) Mk4 Tdi 115 for daily hack for the time being! Ben

scarlet_vr6 0 Posted November 6, 2006 also too poor to have a 2nd car. I *really* wish I could afford to keep my C garaged and summer use only, but like Critical_Mass, at least I have the fun of driving my C every day!
mtc R32 0 Posted November 6, 2006 I have spirts of using the Corrado, but haven't driven it now in over a week!!! Bomb around everywhere in my Wifes smart car.... Long journeys I use the Audi A4 2.5 tdi (Quattro)... Perfect for the family with bags of room... Trying to keep ontop of all of them can be a headache and thats not including the cars I also have parked up (Audi A3, Audi Cab, Bmw M3)... Hopefully most of them will be gone soon as they up forsale

Yandards 0 Posted November 6, 2006 Use mine for both best and daily. Right now it is daily as the scirocco is being a pain. It will go back to being best when I have fixed the 'rocco. Then it will be the Golf or the 'rocco as daily hacks.
