Goldie 2 Posted March 10, 2007 The car is wearing the standard speedlines Are the 312mm brakes off then?? You must be well chuffed...

OSV 0 Posted March 10, 2007 Yes its true I am no longer a Corrado owner, stilll feeling a little numb after cherishing the car and the PVW feature and show wins were the icing on the cake. Thanks Ben, a pleasure to meet you, look after my baby. Understandably Ben has his own plans for the car and the Speedlines wouldn't clear the 312mm brakes so I replaced them for him with standard VR brakes with discs and pads with very little use. The Speedlines were freshly refurbed and as new and never used complete with matching Dunlop tyres. You can't argue with his choice of rims :afro:
MK1Campaign 0 Posted March 10, 2007 The car is wearing the standard speedlines Are the 312mm brakes off then?? You must be well chuffed... Yeh the brakes are off. I think chuffed is an understatement lol. I only PM'd him on the offchance after he mentioned wanting a TT. Looks like i got there in time as hes had quite a few calls after the PVW article. PhatVR6 0 Posted March 11, 2007 can't believe you sold it for a TT......i seriously believe you will regret that decision. I lived with a 3.2 DSG TT for a whole week and it didn't impress me even slightly (compared to my mk4 3.2 4 motion). i hope the new owner doesn't do anything stupid to the car, it's a proper minter. what's happening with all the 301's? you could sell the lot and buy another corrado VR with the money! MK1Campaign 0 Posted March 11, 2007 i hope the new owner doesn't do anything stupid to the car, it's a proper minter. Dont worry i wont be. Gareths done exactly what I would have done to the car. The only real thing im looking to change now is the alloys. Would like some more ZW1's.

Rustynuts 0 Posted March 17, 2007 Alright Ben, good guess the other night when I had to guess what Corrado you bought, by the sounds of things the dollar was right too. Try not to send this one the way of your Rallye though ;) Hopefully no hidden rot or paint work required that can't be completed by that dick of a new owner of your body shop.
