Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Got it on the rollers yesterday for the first time since owning it. Big thanks to Dave & Graham of DG Autotech for organising it  she got a healthy 182BHP @ the flywheel, 165BHP @ the wheels and max torque 223.
Jim 2 Posted October 25, 2009 Was nice to see your VR yesterday mate (I was getting my Merc serviced by Graham!) and nice to meet you - should have introduced myself properly. Car looked stunning!

Toad 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Torque figures sound bloody good to start off with! Will be good to see how it turns out. :)
VR6 0 Posted October 25, 2009 That much torque without a Shrek?? Impressive!
aide 0 Posted October 25, 2009 crikey yeh high torque  good result, no wonder you're pleased with that
Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Oh thats good to know guys :D was wanting it to read 190bhp but Dave and Graham said it was a very healthy VR :D
Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 how come its a standard VR lump yet better torque than BHP figures :cuckoo: any ideas why this is????
Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Here's the graph :) been lookin at it today again not sure what the 205.94 in the top right is??
Toad 0 Posted October 25, 2009 They took an arbitary (probably your peak power) point and showed all the values at that point, i.e. wheel power, torque, flywheel power, AFR etc.
Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 sorry mate i dont follow, you talking about the 205.94 figure?? is that BHP or torque? whats your personal opinon of those figures Tom?
Supercharged 2 Posted October 25, 2009 Not sure what you lot are on about - the toque figure is low - surely should be more like 250Nm peak on a VR, remember it's Nm we're talking not Ft lbs! Curves look good and according to the AFR it goes a bit lean from 4.5k which I think is fairly normal... BHP is a bit low too but maybe its just that RR - I wouldn't worry too much and compare the results next time with other Corrado's at a RR day!
aide 0 Posted October 25, 2009 Not sure what you lot are on about - the toque figure is low - surely should be more like 250Nm peak on a VR, remember it's Nm we're talking not Ft lbs! dead on, units weren't quoted in the original post :salute: max torque 223.
Chris Langdon 0 Posted October 25, 2009 cheers supercharged, your right it works out at 164lb-ft which is 17lb-ft lower which is a fair amount isnt it? :( what could cause that?
