Jim 2 Posted September 30, 2008 I'm definately going to try and get to a point in my life where I have a reliable daily and have about 5k to just burn on a great car and pick up something like an 840i. I'll maintain it as much as I can afford to but basically write off the cash and if it gets to the point where I can no longer afford to run it, just sell it as is. And as this example shows its fairly cheap to buy now, the problem may be it could be hugely expensive to repair. Still,i might consider it some time next year.
