Corrado 'not' spotting - it wasnt you of course

I never spot rados apart from the ones I no the owners too lol

 

done 435miles since last friday, down to east london friday for MOT... saturday back to MK, Sunday upto leeds to see the mrs... not spotted any!! :(

 

you mean you come to leeds and dont say anything! i live like an hour from leeds (which in my eyes isnt much seen as i have to drive an hour to see a motorway!) and you dont say lol

I've owned a few different cars in my time, and the Corrado is one the few where you get recognition waves from other C drivers. :)

 

Used to happen when I had an Escort RS too.

its only 65-70 miles lol depends on traffic 40-45 mins to york then 15-20 to leeds (not city centre of course just outside)

Had a week in Malta last November,

lots of mk1s &mk2s,early Fords

and not one Corrado ! i

i counted twice ! zero

went from London to Manchester, Manchester to Sheffield, Sheffield to Manchester and Manchester back to London. Absolutely NONE seen.

I go from Lincoln to Barry, South Wales every 8-10 weeks and never seen 1 in 3 years of doing it!

Just done London to Bridlington (in Yorkshire) and back this week - didn't see a single one. Saw 3 E-types, half a dozen Ferraris, numerous Astons, and a Brabus D6 M class to name but a few but no C's :( .

Over the last 2 years without counting corrado's that are owned by personal friends etc i have seen 4-5 in total and ive done about 20k in that time mostly in or around london.

wierd isnt it nath on here did a road trip to germany ,drove through and around many countries and never saw one rado! .on the other hand we have just been to spain ,er in doors eldest went out late to the bars n got a video of a guy in a g60 outside a club he had a chat to him sayin bout mine , he said i love them if you come back tommorow i will bring the vr ! ,must be an addict havin two ! mabe one of the members from spain on here? unfortunately we were goin home that mornin would have been nice to see it. have got some good pics of a mint mk1 cabby outside a supermarket though.

i hear about all these rados about but never do i see any on the road!!!!

 

there is a 16v round the corner form me which kinda just sits there, there is another 16v in edginswell lane blue but never seen it, matts vr hardly turns a wheel, robs is always in bits mine is always in the garage!!

 

there is a yellow g60 with a hideous body kit on it in bovey

 

ive travelled around loads in my vr sailsbury wales london never seen another rado and never been spotted...

Drove from Glasgow to France - Amiens, Lyons, Provence, Toulouse and into Spain back via Bordeaux and the whole journey, i never saw one single Corrado bar my own!

 

That was 15days and 4000miles. Leads me to believe they never sold the Corrado in France! Does anyone know if they actually did sell it there?

Next time you're out for a drive have a look for any car the same reg as yours.. theres not many pre 95 anythings left anymore, so unsurprising its rare to spot anoth Rado these days..

Now & again I sea a valver, either on the way to my garage (black), or local Tesco (red), or VR6 after finishing work (red). So :wave: to anyone who drives 'em.
