Oh, and would anyone be upset if I said I saw Metallica when they were touring St Anger, and wandered off to watch Basement Jax instead?

Quite a good album that one. I still listen to Rust In Peace and Countdown To Extinction on a very regular basis, but stopped listening to Metallica about 3 years ago, not even the old stuff excites me now like the 'Deth does.

Who remembers Novocaine for the Soul by Eels? Listened to that this morning, proper wicked! And Slight Return by the Bluetones.... Oh, and then Every Day is a Winding Road by Sheryl Crow swiftly followed by Rage Against the Machine and Slipknot. I like anything as long as it's a good song. Don't care who it is by. :D

I really want to see QOTSA, not heard much of Era Vulgaris, but I've been listening to Songs for the Deaf and Lullabies to Paralyze a lot recently.

Saw them at a leisure centre in Reading last year, Josh Hommes rules!

Great live band IMO

I've got to get on and have more of a listen to it. Had a quick listen to Invaders must Die and some of Wiley's album. :) Cheers for the copy of it.

Gnna hook the craptop up to the stereo and give some of it a blast later. :)

This week I have mostly been listening to -

Justice - A Cross the Universe-Live

The Autobots - Ends of the Earth

Also anything by the PlumpDJ's, Stanton Warriors, Prodigy, Breakspoll etc

So having a real funky dance/breaks kind of week. Might head back over to some indie rock next week though...

p.s. The Wiley album has some quality tunes on it, unfortunately it also has a fair few shockers as well.

I’m still undecided on Death Magnetic, the production is still an issue for me. The music’s pretty good but it doesn’t sound right.

I’m big on the new Disturbed album ‘Indestructible’

I'll second that, the prodigy have done it again, not to keen on the one song that sounds like pendulum but the rest of it is a decent listen!
