Majik 0 Posted August 2, 2010 Is it just me that wants Hammod to go. He's an annoying little man. Great F1 piece. Snowmobiles at the start would have wasted him. Ive ridden one in anger in Canada and it was one of the best days of my life, they accelerate faster than a R1!!! I think he's ok and he did the piece on the Corrado VR6 being a future classic so cut him some slack!
Jim 2 Posted August 2, 2010 I like all of em! Wouldn't want any of them to go! Clarkson for the fact that his dry humour, and the fact he always sets himself up for a fall - May because he's sensible and interesting, and Hammond for the fact he's like the little kid :) I said it before but they just have a great rapport / chemistry and breaking them up would totally change the dynamic and potentially wreck the show. ozowen 2 Posted August 2, 2010 Last in the series? Thought it was 6 of 7 .... according to the magic Sky box thingy anyway  It will say 6/7 as they always have a best of to end which is a bit bizarre as we have only just finished watching it :cuckoo: . Also not to make the presenters bad as I do think they are tops but seeing Stig in the XR3i going through the carwash that definatley looked like an RS Turbo. (unless like most it had been a XR3i and chaved to look turbo) I was also not very happy seeing the Golf Mk1 appear after what they had done to the XR3i(RS Turbo), AX GT, and the Astra GSI. They semi looked in good nick which made their comments on the scrappage deals a bit worthless as they had just killed 3 cars
Kevin Bacon 5 Posted August 2, 2010 I said it before but they just have a great rapport / chemistry and breaking them up would totally change the dynamic and potentially wreck the show. Completely agree. The show is basically those 3. Without them, it would be schitt. You only have to look at 5th Gear to see evidence of a car show ruined by it's presenters. I quite like the chubby fat bloke though, Tom is it? Stiff Needle and Sticky Buttf'cker Henderson irritate the hell out of me. As does the TG wannabe 'relaxed' presenting in a greasey spoon.... The_Dude 0 Posted August 2, 2010 I cringed when they brought that MK1 into play.....thought they would have killed it like the XR3i and the GSI but they didn't mark it .... phew! i believe that mk1 is actually clarksons own car. That could explain his "Careful!" as the arch began to tip towards the car as they were moving it round the back. Glad they killed the GSI too, I hated mine. I want a 458 so badly! Having seen some of the press shots I wasn't impressed, but it looks awesome from so many angles when its on the move. Yummy :luvlove:
Jim 2 Posted August 2, 2010 You know it was properly decent as Clarkson wasn't doing his casual one hand on the wheel sarcastic commentary on the 458 - he had both hands on the wheel and he looked like he was about 10 seconds from crapping himself! Gotta try and get a go in one at one of those Supercar Days at some point!
russed99 0 Posted August 3, 2010 Just watching the re-run and they drove right past my house in the british cars. Gutted!

Probably the only one free that day. He's just a cheesy little twat that is only famous for crashing a car. I agree it would not be the same without him. I dont believe a word that he says, he just seems so false to me. Less of the cheese and more sincerity and he can stay
