Hope this isn't a repost...

30k seems a bit of a steal to me (if u take stormcharged's vrt as a benchmark)

I hate to say it but the one thing i would change if i ever had that kinda money for a rado is the arches, stock lines ftw imo. :D

Gotta say I don't really like that. Granted it is a wonderful effort and has been done to a very high standard. But I really hate that interior and I'd much rather have a charged or turbo's VR6 (or 24v).

It's a very good effort though.

It is a turbo vr6... makes 500hp at the wheels, all 4 of em lol.

Ok, maybe I didn't read it properly. But I've had quite a large amount of whiskey damn it!

:D

Still not mad on it though.

30K Dorrar remember, or 19.5K of your finest English pounds :D

I like it. It's got all the tasty Schimmel kit on it, 4WD, 500whp (600bhp to us), proper seats....it's a weapon :D

Its a very nice motor for sure, not keen on the interior though, would be much nicer in black, plus the fact that it looks like he's wedged a PSP in the instrument console.

Apart form that though, very very nice, and as close to the perfect Corrado as you could get I reckon.

Plenty of power plus Haldex= :luvlove:

This was featured in last months PVW

Beaten to it.

looks like a good one, dont know about spending $50k on it though... would like to see where that has gone to be honest. Especially since the chap claims in PVW to have done most of the work himself.

I have a feeling it's a Bill Schimmel car. He specialises in one off builds like that, including his stonking rear engined 24VT Corrado, which imo knocks the white one off the planet for innovation and pure balls out engineering....

Not keen on the whole style of the car, but like the engine/drivechain setup. 500hp in a 4wd Corrado is cool!!

Jesus how much power does that twin turbo rocket machine put out? Never seen that before looks amazing apart from the front spoiler.

As for the original car thats nice too however I'd knock him done a few quid on the state of the air filter

I think he built the actual engine but Dave Paster (the owner) did everything else himself. Hes a painter by trade. It must be an absolute animal to drive, £20k is a bargain imo.

N yeah it was in last months PVW, thought id put up a thread here too! I think the cars been broken for parts now... The arch work despite not being to my tastes is amazing, 9x17 up front i think with 225/35s and 10s out back with 245s!! It must be a dream to drive with it being abe to put down all that power!!

N the seats :luvlove: Theres only a small number of em in the world, worth about 4-5k i think.

if you had 19.5k as kev pointed out you would get nowhere near this level of build, do the maths and you looking at about 20k in parts alone then all the work afterwards. so yeh its expensive but at the same time its cheap.

600bhp 4x4 corrado :notworthy:

500ish whp IIRC, but it can do more, a lot more :D I think the front spoiler is to help keep it on the ground at speed as there's no longer any weight up front, except the fuel tank :D I read the write up in PVW and he tried his best to keep it OE looking, but sometimes you can't avoid external mods.

Fair play to the man. I wish I could weld and had the space!

I don't think that one would be too animaly to drive thanks to the 4WD. 600bhp in FWD is another kettle of fish

You must be one hell of a driver lol. 5-600hp AWD or not in a 1.5 tonne car is just mad, like fookin crazy!

My most favourite Corrado ever when it was Brown with the ABT splits.

Now it still looks amazing but loved it so much before. Still dunno if its worth 20k. Dont think any Corrado is now...
