Stuff laying around the office at work

Recommended Posts

Was looking around the office today thinking we have some nice toys laying around, such as this on my desk:

Ex Marussia F1 steering wheel I built and have now modified to loan to a different team (not F1 this time)

And this

Wheel from an old Toyota F1, so quite old now but still looks good in the office

Anyone else have anything interesting laying around ?

A German sheppard, old English sheep dog, golden retriever, black lab, pug, and a couple of setters. People bring dogs into work here.

Not allowed to take photos at work but other than the usual office equipment there are scale models of radar system and some rapier and seawolf missiles. In the atrium have some full size models of an old nuke bomb(not a model but decommissioned one), a paveway and cruise missiles

It isn't bad at all, were a small team with low volume, high quality production. The owners manage the vast majority of it, with the founder - who is effectively who I report to, still working on the cars.

That's an LS3 I believe, the engine bay shot is a 7 litre, 600 whp LS7.

They are effectively cobras as 99% of the cobras you'll ever see won't be genuine Shelby cars as there were so few produced.

T70 GDS is the company Lola T70 replica demonstrator, although this model has a canopy system which we call the T70 Moda. The gull wing windows are not fitted to the car at the moment.

I will ask but we don't have a lot of parking space.

On the panels front there could be, however we are in the process of building up to something that will be quite revolutionary in terms of the kit car world so there may not be time for it.

Strangely enough, there doesnt seem to be any steering wheel stuff on the web site

For my job I tend to do the TPMS for the OEMs but get to play with other stuff when its quiet
