Missing part revival

OK, so my tailgate is missing the two buffers that the parcel shelf sits against when closed. (Part no. 535867815A) Obsolete

I have contacted Anna about remaking some, so my questions are:-

• Who else has these missing

• Are they foam or rubber

• Anyone have a picture

Hopefully lots of people will be missing these and then VW Heritage may get these made again ( thanks anna)

Mine are mine a missing. I've know idea what they are made from though , I've never had them on the car .

High density foam.

 

A pair live between the rear parcel shelf support panel the rear seat - I think these are to limit movement/vibration of the rear seat, 535867783, the look like the ones detailed below but have a hole through the middle of the large section to aid compression.

 

There are 2 that sit on the tailgate trim panel, 535867815A, are designed to stop the parcel shelf rattling around, the original finish is a smooth foam although as per the images below I made that out of toolkit style foam which is a little rougher.

 

Got an original boot one in my hands now albeit its a bit scruffy.

Hi all,

Man I've been looking for these for years. Missing one on my SLC. Not a

high visible item but for all who want their car complete its a must.

Put me in for a pair even if someone else fabricates them. Made from

a close cell high density foam. If the shape wasn't so irregular, I'd

try to cut my own. I'm certainly in. Thanks:cheers :
