  1. There is a big chance that you might have thrown metal fragments into your head and valves (sometimes depending on engine speed). The safest way to do it is remove your head and clean and inspect everything. Although in alot of the cases we dont find metal fragments or any debris into the head as the intercooler stops a good deal. DO the pipe check first and also have a good look into yout throttle body as you will find oil but keep an eye for any bits, use a flash light to see inside and good luck. Make sure the other charger is up to shape. rgds migs
  2. Well actually this is what is included in our kit. Our systems dont use a square tooth shape Henny but is more smoothed so its less hard on the belt but yea it looks like that on the pics :) . One thing to note is that all the pulleys on our system are machine pressed and they bed the belt inside them due to the 2 lips on the side of the pulleys thus helping keeping the belt straight. We been using these systems on many cars with good results. kind regards migs
  3. Is there any other leather cleaner except the autoglym one as i cant stand that smell, it makes me sick and makes the whole car stink for weeks :x
  4. This topic makes me feel bad, close it please
  5. I have F1s at the front recently, i found out they have much more grip than the avons i had previously.
  6. i had a go with the new TT 3.2 version one night, me and my freind in mine and only the driver in the TT, i pulled away about a cars length in first gear than once i could get some traction in 2nd i pulled away further in every gear. My mate in the car has a TT 225 and hew new the story but hell i didnt expect the 3.2 to be that slow. Although it was a convertible meaning slighly heavier, but than again my G60 isnt exactly standart, iv lost track of how much power i have now  Forced Induction all the way baby we aint playing around here :-P
  7. You will soon  , what about us that run around london everyday in a corrado, ill get myself a cheap diesel or something.
  8. 220 is good power, you can try and release some free power from porting the head, the throttle body to increase flow. WHat cam are you using? rgds
  9. If you are talking about the 180 degre alluminium U bend than no, the U bend replaces the RSR outlet so you wont need one. rgds
  10. Looking good 8) , i like those seats and the colour plus you have less miles than me
  11. God daum what in the hell is that  these youngsters nowdays, why would you throw money away like that in that piece of sh!t corsa, i bet everyone laughs at him but its already too late
  12. Lol yea alex i told you about this guy, i saw his car a few months ago and its painted in blue done by himself:lol: , i was soo ashamed to be near it. It is a VR6 tho apparently this car was written off and he has mixed and matched parts to get it on the road. He has BMW sideskirts, they were to long and he cut the end, it looked stupid. you can see the holes in them in those pictures. The inside of the doors were still white and so was the engine bay, what a mess. He said he runs close to 280hp outa stock VR
  13. thats a sprinter van intercooler that big ben has, the raylle is slighlty smaller. The raylle and mk2 golf g60 intercooelrs are the same, the dimenssions are the same. the only difference is the inlets which are slightly bigger my a few mm but no difference in performance i would say. I have a golf mk2 intercooler system complete with all the bends and piping for sale. This replaces the whole boost system of the corrado from charger exhaust to throttle body. It will be up for sale on the for sale section soon. These systems are rare  i was going to keep it for myself as i been looking for a long time for one but iv changed my mind on my project. It will be up for sale for £600 including a new rubber seal for the 180 degree bend.
  14. I have a feeling this topic will be a long one :D

yes removal of the head is crucial as you will probably have metal fragments inside your head and cylinders, hopefully you havent damaged your bores or head good luck :(
  16. The dual air filters will give you better flow, charger will suck same amount of air in both intakes and sqwezze it in the chambers than it will do with one side blocked, do not expect 2 psi gain as it wont happen. Get aprils issue of pvw and you will see. "HINT" :)
  17. Thanks for the good words guys. First im happy that nothing serious happened to me or anybody else during the accident. The car will get fixed again better than it was but you know its the time and effort that iv spent on it which makes me really pissed. I wasnt stationary when he hit me, i must have been around 5mph than as soon as i see him coming fast and smoking the tires i booted the car to around 20mph, i had no time to flash the hazzards because i was already traveling slow and there was no cars behind me which i could see untill the last moment. My back feels better now but my knee is badly buised so is my knee cap. Will have to wait and see what the insurance says and see how i feel, now i cant bend or get down on my knees which stops me from doing any kind of work, i walk around with a limp now  it aint funny but hey this is life. rgds migs
  18. Someone just smashed in the back of me today :x on a dual carrigeway. This guy with an 1970 bmw which was doing about 110 on a dual carrigeway, traffic slowed down and all i see is a fast moving brick on my mirror locking up tires in smoke. I was doing about 5mph and as soon as i see that i try and boot it so he misses me but i couldnt get away fast, he ramed into my rear slam pannel and rear bumper luckuly my rear glass didnt brake from the impact, i have some knee and back injuries nothing major. My point is why someone would do such silly speeds at rush hour on a dual carrigeway with a 40mph limit. This means my car wont be ready for inters  . If i didnt move forward i think the car would have been written off, i guess i was lucky in some way. rgds

  23. You have to be careful on what parts you buy from manufactures, make sure you get the right spec parts because the innappropriate ones may damage your charger or will last for a very short period of time. I wouldnt buy these bearings or oil seals from any big suppliers which have no experience with the G60 charger as chances are you will get the wrong parts, the bearings and oil seals used on g-laders are very specific for their purpouse. There are a few places which sell these complete kits such as us G-tuned, Darren.... Sayin that there is different specs that people use some being cheaper and more profitable than others but not necesseraly better. We can offer now a new spec of high speed bearings, strips and oil seals which are superior the OEM parts, ideal for a high reving small pulley G60 unit. If you have time and knowlege its an efficient way to mantain your charger in good shape by carrying the work yourself but one should be confident on what he does, as many have reccomended there are some sites which cover this section that might help you. Good luck! :thumbleft: rgds
  24. yes i had to use spacers to clear the coilovers, the wheels sit perfect with those spacers, i have 7.5 17" alloys, i believe they are ET 35. rgds
