  1. That is very generous. More than happy to cover postage. That's what I like about this forum people are happy to help out without anything in return. Will send pm with address. Thanks
  2. Cheers for the replies. I'm guessing the o ring that was there must have perished. I will take you up on that offer please. Pm me with price.
  3. Morning all. I recently removed the charger from my 92 G60 and the bracket next to the oil cooler and found a hole (port) but have no idea what it is for. Does anyone know what it does and more importantly does it require a gasket when the bracket is re fitted? Cheers stew.
  4. I believe the crank bolt is a weak point on the g60 engines. A new one can be had from vw which has been re designed to be stronger. Also a heat shield between air filter and charger wouldn't be a bad idea.
  5. Not as much love for red as I thought there would be. The last colour I wanted when I was looking was red but it has grown on me especially when I look at it after a good polish just as the suns going down it seems to have such a deep shine that can only be matched by black imo. Darker colours will give more of a mirror shine where as light colours seem less so.

    Oh sh*t!!!!!!!

Personally I would be concerned about fatigue damaging the bumper over time so would consider using tiger glue to bond the shell to the bumper iron for additional support or use 2 pack glue to bond where fixing tabs are/should be. Just my opinion.

Have you got any pics? Are all the fixings broken?
  9. They should just go in. Runners will be connected to the motor as far as I know so yes runners will need changing.
  10. Don't you need a class c licence for a flat bed? Trailer hire could also be an option. I hired one for £50 for the day.
  11. I would say £220 is a good price. Had to get a car picked up and was about 140 miles and cheapest I could get was £230.
  12. How much deeper are the speakers over standard? Water is probably getting in between the window and outer scraper. If they are anything like mine they don't even touch the glass anymore.
  13. I bought mine second hand off flee bay paid £17.
  14. Or the much cheaper option of e30 arms which is what I've fitted and work so much better than standard and look more oem.
  15. You will have to take out the whole mechanism. First remove the wiper arms and behind them are 2x 21mm nuts which need to be removed then you are left with 1 13mm bolt near the drivers side suspension turret. With a bit of a giggle it will come lose and pull out. Now you can get to the motor.
  16. Finally got round to looking into the handbrake problem and found that the front bolt had sheared away from the base plate. Drilled out the spot welds and removed plate so that the bolt could be welded back into the plate. As a temporary measure I have re fitted plate with pop rivets until I have the time to get carpets out to weld plate in properly. All now working as it should.
  17. Its only just happened so need to take the trim off to have a proper look.
  18. What made it worse is he claimed to have owned one. Surely you would remember the name of it if you had had one. Or at the very least remember that its a VW not a bloody Ford.
  19. The hand brake bolt that holds the handbrake down has broken I'm assuming the bolt has snapped. What have other people done to fix the problem? Any pics would also be a great help cheers.
  20. Do you get people saying oh I love your Corrado? Lol. I had someone call my rado a Scorpio the other day.
  21. Would disconnecting battery stop alarm from working and therefore void insurance if anything happened?
  22. Open to offers as need the space back. Willing to post if required.
  23. I did use the same blades and are ok but drivers side would benefit from being an inch or so bigger which I will do when the current blades need replacing.
  24. Bmw E30 arms are much better than original and are alot cheaper than the tt lupo options.
