Who needs carbon wings / bonnet? :D

Who needs a holiday? :D

Why haven't these sold yet? What's wrong with you people??! :D
What does 50 brown sheets buy you these days? Bugger all, so why not cross Clumpy's palm with those sheets and equip yourself with some tasty goodies! :D
-
I may come across like an arse but I'd feel worse if something happened and didn't say anything. You couldn't come across like an arse if you tried :D
Are you an engineer by trade? You've got a big bag of onions in your hand and you know every one of them :)
I also thought they looked a little on the under-engineered side to support a rear axle, but only from a visual perspective. Thanks for confirming with a scientific explanation!

The G60 has much better clearance for proper wheel tuck. Great job mate. I hate all the wheel poke tyre stretching nonsense that goes on these days, so it's really nice to see a tasty Corrado with wheels that fit the car's profile perfectly :)
I'd take the RCs over the RSs though, but both work!
-
Yeah that is nice but again, no pictures of the driver's seat. Premium asking prices should have premium adverts.

Kev had the same ones I've got,Eurospec, they are not vented, but you get a spacer to position the caliper to fit the supplied 280mm discI had to shave the fins of my mk4 calipers to fit behind my 15" wheels

You can just make out where I "shaved" the fins !
Yup, exactly that /\ !
-
I've shaved about 5mm off MK4 calipers to get 280s behind original speedos with no problems. 10mm seemed a step too far to me, but they're pretty chunky things. The original iron calipers aren't as chunky IIRC and might fit better?
-
The VR holds about 10 litres IIRC....

Not cheap then!

I'd stick to G13 personally, or G what ever version it is these days. Apparently they've recently improved it to extend the life of water pumps and other watery spinney things.
How much is the waterless stuff then?
I'm off to lunch for some foodless food

I liked his living with a Zonda videos and visiting the Pagani factory etc.
I think Moscow like cheap nasty products because it's what they're used to, but you'll notice Russia's elite prefer the finer things in life, such as German exec cars :)
I don't think the Range Rover fail was rigged. That's what happens when you fit stupid 20" wheels with even stupider tyres to a 2.5 tonne 4x4.
-
I have no idea mate!
I would imagine somewhere approaching standard R32 power?
-
Fairly enjoyed it, there seems to be a good few car programmes coming onto mainstream TV these days.I think TV execs are cottoning onto the fact that we all might have outgrown top gear a little bit.
I know the yanks created "Christine" as the car from hell, but did anyone else think that black Beetle was particularly sinister? The fact of who owned it, that it was an original prototype built by Dr Porsche and that old Adolf himself might have seen/been in it, made it extremely creepy.
The little 500 looked a lot of fun too
Dougie
I think TV execs have also noticed an increased demand for high quality documentaries & dramas because our TV network is filling up with utter trash!
I loved the detail May went into, but that's his thing :)
Can't believe the last LADA rolled off the production line in 2012 and the build quality of the purple one, complete with paint runs, was hilarious :)
-
It would be interesting to see what kind of power a 2.8 could achieve ;)
I don't know of anyone who's schricked a BDE, it's a rare engine in the UK. Most 4Motions were AUEs, which can't be cammed at all (no one makes any).

I know a guy who worked on an app for Hammond, said he was a massive self important **** with small man syndrome.Doesn't surprise me in the slightest!
He works as the butt of Clarkson's jokes on Top Gear, but aside from that I'm not a fan. That live show he did about wildlife in Africa was just embarrassingly bad!
-
It puts things into perspective when you see how people lived under fascist regimes.
-
He tries too hard I think, whereas it seems to come naturally to May, plus he's genuinely interested in his subject matter. Hammond is just a media whore.

Brand new 268/264 Schrick Cams for 3.2 & 2.8 24V (not suitable for BUB or AUE)
Brand new Schrick 268/264 cams for 2.8 & 3.2 24V engines.
I know some of you own an R32 or a conversion in a Corrado, so these may be of interest.
They are suitable for MK4 BFH 3.2 and BDE 2.8 engines, MK1 TT BHE and Audi BDB 3.2 engines.
I am selling them as a complete kit with 6 x brand new oil rings, 2 x brand new stretch bolts and 24 x brand new tappets.
The reason for the tappets is Schrick won't honour their warranty unless the tappets are replaced, so it makes sense to sell the cams as a package. You will not find this stuff any cheaper, that much I can guarantee.
I am either selling my MK4 for a MK5 or MK6 R, or doing some kind of turbo conversion into my MK4 (TFSI or S3), I haven't decided yet, but either way these are surplus to requirements.
Stealth Racing really rate these cams and often see good results from them. I know of a MK2 R32 conversion with these cams that was mapped to near on 300hp by Stealth.
They are for sale on the R32OC as well, hence the username and date sticker. We should do that on here as well!
Great cams, great price :)

Nah it's a completely new series about communism and cars.
I like James May. I can't watch anything Hammond presents on his own, but May I can watch for hours.

Nice ideas guys!
I'm sure most men could cope with a home birth too. Why risk getting a speeding fine or wasting an ambulance's time?
And here's a tip for the girls: why waste time and money plucking all your eyebrows out, then drawing or tattooing them back on? Simply stop pulling them out in the first place. Simple!
-
But you still own £7-8k worth of golf that you could sell tommorrow. Can't help justify the £2k of niggles though, must be a niggly sort of person
Yeah there is that. I suppose it's the same with renting a house vs buying one!
-
It's very liberating knowing you can beat on a car and leave it anywhere, knowing it's not yours and will be handed back!
-
....and other Friday afternoon whacky "Do it Yourself" body maintenance jobs. Let's hear your ideas. The cheaper and crazier, the better.
I'll start.
Why do folk pay £1000 for a professional tooth whitening service when you can just get a tub of tooth polish paste off Amazon for a tenner, borrow someone's dremel and and get polishing?!?
Skin tags and other dangly unwanted skin things. So shifting these is no classed as "Cosmetic" under the NHS, and therefore you have pay private. £175 for 5 mins work with a medical grade soldering iron basically. So why not burn them off with an actual soldering iron? Way cheaper!
Cutting hair. Why pay some surly teenager £25 for running clippers over your head when you can buy said clippers from Tesco for £20 and do it yourself? No need to faff about getting to the hairdressers, just do it at home at your leisure.
Podiatrist. Why waste your time with these people. Simply fill your shoes with liquid silicon, place a bag over it, stick your foot in to form the mould, leave to set. Done!
