  1. midlands, there are wuite a few guys from ur sides in here, look at the servicing section where ppl have recommended garages by region.

If u go vw they may do a good job, but itll be £. Prob better going to a corrado specialist, theyll know exactly what to do.

If anythin, put up a post in servicing asking which garages in ur area are recommended. You may even find c owners in ur area that may lend a helpng hand.

Anyways welcome to the forum, ull find a lot of dedicated c owners in here-ive picked upa lot of valuable info from the guys on the forum.and some utter nonsense aswell!!! ENJOY MATE>

    Regards

  2. Not to send shivers down your spine, but for 1700 pound, samco hoses are probably the last thing on your christmas list mate

But on a more positive side, welcome to Corrado ownership! 8)

oh and i serviced the car 3 months after buying it (Big mistake should have done it straight away) incl cambelt/battery/4xtyres/clutch/brakes/fuse box/water pump/isv valve/ignition switch/timing belts/cams etc

  3. Rallye fo ra good example will set you back 5500-8000, and a good exapmle g60 proba around the 3500-5000 mark. The rallye is a very different class of animal in my opinion, sits above the other v dubs with the 4wd..........

but it all really depends on the car itself, what works been done on it? What condition its in??? Whether you want to stick to std or not etc

From being converted to the corrado, id go with the g60 personally. Im still screwing i bought a valver!!! Rallyes need to be experienced though!!!

p.s. i jsut got a call from subaru, im booking the 24 hour test drive now!!!!!!! Watch the news on saturday morning, of reports of a subara imprezza tearing through hyde park 8)

  4. Ive looked on the net, not much luck, same ol b shit on there. Ive seena set of porsche replicas, with 8 on the front and 9 on the back, but the guy wants 1100 for them.......Not a chance. It d be easier selling sand to arabs than seeing me part with a grand for soem wheels, that ill probabl end up kerbing anyway!

i like the 524 actually, theyll look like propellors when driving!!!!!!!!

i loved the enzo cups, but wanted to get splits next. I love kevs wheels above, they are the busienss, and the replicas ive seen are based on them, but its just too much money! My mate just built some bbs rs001 with 8.5 onth e fornt and 9 onth ebacnk, and it csot him 2100 all in??????????? If u look at the latest pvwmag all the show cars have em, but they cost too bloomin much :!:

  5. After an evasive manouver left my c with one warped wheel, which will cost me 200 to replace, i have decided to go fora new set.

My budget is limited im looking within 500( i have tyres already)

Any advice? I would go for splits, but cant afford them, and so prefer split effect(with bolts) and deep dish.

I have seen a couple of examples:

Be useful to see what people think. Originally i was riding on enzo cups(http://www.enzo-wheels.com/cgi-bin/evow ... set&lang=2) I love the old skool look of them
