  3. this is what mine came with when i picked pu my K reg 1993 2ltr 16v the other day....
  4. well i did it, but as there was a hole in the lense, the reflector got dirty, so like an idiot i tried to clean it up, so i rubbed the back part and removing some of it showing the yellow behind, what an idiot i am! But the clips are all broken on it anyway so i do need a new light UNIT anyway! Im still hunting!
  5. are they easy to replace, the gause part on the lifter pump?
  6. well its ok'ish on idling when ive been driving then come to some lights etc and stop. But ive STILL got troubles with the start in the morning? It still sounds like its running on 3 for a few seconds? Could this be linked to my VERY noisy fuel pump under the car, i am fitting a new fuel filter on saturday. Any other ideas?
  7. ok done that it didnt move so i got my gf to start it briefly for few secs then sprayed it, its moved then, will see how it is later. Also just replaced the Plugs.
  8. so do i just need to put it to ignition or actually start the car?

  13. Why does it help by keeping the ignition on repeatedly? what does this do? is not taking it off and soaking it in petrol better?
  14. With the ISV, do i just take off both the hose's, and the electric connector, then slide it off the metal bracket its on, soak in little petrol and clean it, then re-fit?
  15. well i was tol;d it was something to do with the engine not knowing when the engine is cold and giving a bit extrra fuel, hense it taking about 5 seconds of the key held on starter to start the engine, and i have noticed today and when idling its dropping the revs and nearly stalling????
  16. ok i think there are a few diferent things going on here, prob due to me high-jacking and asking another question. I think one of the original questions was about the first start sound likes itn on 3 cylinders and taking a while to start, so ppl said clean the ISV, which is what ive red outlined above yes?

  19. they didnt ask the engine size thinking about it now, i just said 1993 blue temp sensor. WHere is the ISV on the 2ltr 16v models?
  20. So for my 2ltr 16v i want the blue sensor that has the angeled connector on it. And where the heck is the ISV on 2ltr 16v models?
  21. i was told it was the blue temp seonsor, so went and brought one, but my engine dont have one,. going to try and clean the ISV, if i can!
  22. its ok just got a guide how to do the ISv, and found out my 2ltr 16v DOESNT have a Blue temp sensor!
  23. right can somone tell me where the ISV is and how to clean it and where to fit my new blue tmep sensor? PLEASE HELP ME!
