  10. Will the L shaped elbow piece of pipe from a 1.8 16v fit a 2ltr 16v?
  11. yeah but not sure where to start, i've cleaned the connectors that touch the bulb, and took the connector with the 4 wires in it off and it 'looks' ok, where else should i be checking?
  12. did u break the black plastic bit off aswell?
  13. put the exhaust back on the rear hanger and replaced the wire holding the back box up from hitting the axel. Fitted a 2nd fog light in the passenger side of the tail gate. Found out i've got a big gash(ooooh aye!) in my air intake near the trottle body :( needs to be fixed!

  17. i think i'll need a trip to scrapy then, can i get it from any 2ltr 16v VW engine that looks the same as mine?
  18. I was replacing a rear light today and decided to take a look behind the pannel on the tail gate for the first time sionce owning it. I noticed that there was a SPARE holder for a bulb on the passenger side for a fog light, then saw that there was a black plastic bit where the bulbs enters the lense, so i took this out and put it another bulb, now i have two fog lights, but the passenger one is not a sqaure shapre on the lense like the drivers side. Obviously it wasnt meant to have a passenger fog, but it'll make me more vissible in the fog which is the main thing! can anyone please explain the drivers / passenger fog light situation for me so i can undestand little more about my corrado? Neil
  19. nah nothing like that, but its the REAR side light, so would that even effect it? any other ideas?
  20. Edit:- will a 1.8 16v elbow air pipe fit a 2ltr 16v? Original message:- I had to call the RAC out last night as my car wouldnt idle, Its done this before but after a while of trying to start the car its worked and idle'd like 'normal' So after 30 mins of him faffing around he found a split in the elbow pipe just before the trottle body, he taped it up and it got me home. few questions:- Would this split stop the car from idling or was it something else he dissturbed and flook'ly put right? How much are the elbow pipes from GSF or second hand and is there anything else i should look out for? Thanks if anyone can help me! Neil
