  1. Nope, the V6 is generally recognised as being the best V6 ever produced in its later developments
  2. And it also had a fantastic V6 engine

    lower spoiler??

Early one was 90mm deep whilst the later one is 50mm deep, my Aqua G60 has been lowered by 40mm and is fine with the 90mm spoiler, my Nugget G60 is lowered by 60mm and it was impossible to drive anywhere without scraping the hell out of the 90mm one
  4. Not even close - wrong end of Europe
  5. That was the air intakes, can be operated on the switch or leave it do it its thing automatically. The European car with the active front spoiler also had a removable briefcase in the dashboard - anyone remember the car???
  6. How about Nimbo - short for Nimbostratus - the dark coloured storm cloud
  7. The length of time we have had to wait for decent headlights I'm not holding my breath for clear fogs / indicators
  8. I have one of gav's looms on my Aqua G60 and they are superb, perfct combo for light output would be the Angel Eyes AND an uprated loom
  9. Three today Black Rado with towbar - at lights outside Wayside VW Dunstable Purple G60 on M25 near M40 interchange late afternoon Green 16V (early model) on A281 just through Bucks Green at 6.30'ish
  10. The look is purely a matter of personal taste - make your own mind up As for fitting - dead easy - straight swap, especially as it looks like they come with height adjusters and set-up for right hand drive now. Light performance is a huge amount better than standard lights - even with an uprated loom
  11. Clearly designed for overweight, balding 45 year old solicitors who want to be seen in a "sporty" car but have no interest in driving and aren't prepared to sacrifice the luxury
  12. I did not go looking for a Nugget but now I love the colour. Strange thing about the colour is that other drivers don't try it on, in the Aqua Blue G60 seems like every man and his dog wants to race, everyone leaves me alone in the Nugget, lots of people have said that it looks very aggressive
  13. Didn't American and Japanese GTO's also have switchable active exhausts. You sure the Supra had active spoilers?????
  14. OK, so we have the Rados rear spoiler but what other cars have what could be classed as active aerodynamics Brownie point for the person who can name the European car in the 90's that had an active FRONT spoiler
  15. Black L reg Rado outside Harwoods Citroen in Five Oaks today at about 5 o'clock
  16. Certainly a colour that divides opinion - personally I love it but thats only to be expected
  17. Thats my only concern, mind you I've had six years driving in Italy and apart from one near miss at 120mph on the Autostrada never had a single dent or scratch
  18. Did it four years running a few years back, driven in every country in Europe now but Italy is definitely my favourite, incredibly well disciplined drivers - they just hate being overtaken by non-Italians
  19. Over 16 days - most of the time will be spent around Lake Garda, draft itinerary is - 1st September - Eurotunnel - France - Belgium (calling at Spa) - into Germany (calling at Nurburgring - Switzerland (stopping overnight in Luzern 2nd September - down to Lake Garda 11th September - down to Tuscany 14th September - over to France 16th September - up to a last night in Paris 17th September - home Might just stay in Lake Garda - loads to do and will give me the chance to drive up and do some of the Austrain / Italian mountain drives and the mandatory trip to Maranello - depends how the mood takes us Booked via Eurocamp - including 15 nights in a mobile home on a fantastic site on the edge of the lake and Eurotunnel and insurance is £510 for two of us Should do between 2500 and 3000 miles - just me and the wife at the mo
  20. ....all booked for Sept 2006 Through France, Germany, Switzerland and into Italy, Lake Garda, Maranello, Tuscany and back through South of France, stopping in Paris for the last night - hope the G60 will be up to it
  21. Aqua Blue G60 is now showing 132,000, put 4,000 miles on in 2 months
  22. ......all the way from French E-Bay and all for £450 incl. carriage. Was a bit nervous as seller would only acept a cheque but all went smoothly. Arrived complete with receipt of rebuild carried out earlier in the year and peering inside it is certainly very clean and smooth looking. Anyone got any advice for how to store them - bit concerned about seals deteriorating etc

    Headlight Guards

Put the 3M film on last night, took me less than 15 mins to do the headlights, fogs and indicators - totally invisible when in place so photos are a bit of a waste of time - certainly think that it will stop cracking of lenses
  24. Was given some of this a while ago and yesterday, being bored decided to go over the Nugget G60 with it. The car has only done 2,000 miles since being fully Swissoled but the crap that came out of the paint was amazing. The finish is now amazingly smooth, just got to apply another coat of Swissol this evening. The cleaner is pretty mild, only very small traces of paint on the cloths I used and certainly highly recommended - very easy to apply and take off as well
  25. Doubt you'll find many cars of that age looking that clean
