  7. borrowed this from vortex as an examlple for you guys ... Keep in mind a honda with can make 300hp with 10psi, so psi is not the be-all end-all means of making power.. Its just an example of how much (lack of) flow you have in a motor. In theory the less boost you can run with more flow will make everything better, as with boost comes heat. 20psi of hot air versus 10psi of cool air can equal the same mass density of air. Of course cranking up the boost is the cheap way out, i do it myself, but you can make lots more efficient power with FLOW. The expensive way. so there you go the more boost you have the worst flow you have got .. ie a better cam will give you lower boost hence more flow !
  8. well just to let you guys know that over the maf cant take more than 1 bar 14.5 psi.. so i will let you draw your own conclusions to that one.. :lol:

    i to WOULD never use a foam filter on a glader as they can implode !-goodbye glader :shock: dubster- where would the oil in the air filter come from then ? i puzzled ??

    yeah i would give it a spray with a ptfe spray every now and again we use a rocoil product..

    yeah but i would still rather have a 20vt in my bay too !!! i have spoken to MADDUB and this aint no std car mate and with all the mods carried out iho this is a 9k very well spent ....."shame it wasn't to us ehh !" :lol:

  21. if you look through previous posts on this matter you will read it IS VERY Hard to achive the sort of bhp you are asking for without using a cross flow head as this is the restrictive part of the equation... ture the 50mm ports should help aka jd engineering done it but also using a crazy small pulley on the charger " remember he can rebuild it every 5k which i know he was doing!"
