its nothing to do with the weight is all about the rolling radius of the bigger wheel..but with a 205/40/17 tyre you should not be far of std rolling radius anyway so what people are telling you is c**p...anyway you will proberly find you speedo is not 100% accurate anyway so i wouldn't worry about it and go for any 17" you fancy... what you will get though us a slightly more harsh ride than with origanial 15" wheels

a brand new g-lader will cost you around £1500 to buy if you one blows! they need servicing every 35-40k to keep in tip top condition...

just remember the xtra stress spacers and low offsets put on the bearings etc... u have been warned!! :lol: but then so was i ! see pic above... they are 9-16" et 15mm with no spacers... when i run the porka rims i use a 25mm spacer on an et50mm rim

imho migs i would rather be fitting a good used i/cooler that hasend had a charger go bang in at all !! can get one for around £30 i would rather buy one of these than see it all get ruined again!!

here is a pic of our twin intake parts dodgy pic sorry...- i will post some better pics of it up tonight basiclly you would need to drop the rad for a custom made air box ..unless you want unsightly ductwork going all over the front of you engine bay with a filter on the end somwhere .. not the way we would go about doing somthing like this..

LOWG- well when i cleaned my intercooler i found apex strips and bits of my old charger,i used petrol to brake down all the grease that was in it and there was loads of iT.. Please dont tell me you are going to carry on using this i/cooler i bet there is still fragments of trashed charger in it and i just think you are asking for trouble! we would never fit and i/c back on a car that the charger has let go on for exactly this reason also i would be taking ALL the PIPEWORK of and give it a very good clen aswell

im gonna get them myself as john 16vg60 also brought a set @ inters from eurotek.. only thing i DONT like about them is the dare i say it?? tacky looking chrome plastic on them i will have mine donebody colour on the offending parts!! mark16v- they look v.nice on you c mate!

endor! i flipping love tose wheels on your c mate!! i think they look like some VERY expensive jap wheels i have seen for around £3k per set...

oh right ok you see i sold these wheels to a guy called darren with a car exactly the same as yours! just putting 2 &2 together and coming up eith 5 again doh!! here's a pic with mine on the still autos anyway!! i wish i still had them too...

mark16v where did you buy that car from?? did it come with them wheels on it as i think they might of been mine once...

mind you most of this gear is now under banana's bonnett as we are develping lots of new bits @ the moment!! :shock:

the biggest benifit in removing the bypass pipe is for the lack of heat taken back to the charger! imho it is a great mod IF you can put up with the extra noise in the car... oh well i spose we wouldnt have a g60 if we wanted a quiet and boring ride ehh :lol:
