I have noticed my footwell is damp sometimes on the passenger side - i saw the topic about someone's heater matrix - could it be that? My heaters seem to work absolutely fine, and there doesn't seem to be any dampness around the door seal anywhere, or on the edge of the carpet coming down from the door. Help would be appreciated, cheers.

Well, I got this with the car, but it seems it either has a problem with the siren, or is set to "silent" mode - I've heard you can sometimes turn a siren off on certain alarms. Anyway, I don't have an instrucion manual and I only have one fob, does anyone know where I can find some instructions (I have tried google with no luck), and whether you can get replacement fogs? How often will a Siren break, and how much does it cost for a new one? I have been up to my local Alarm-fitter/Electirician/rip-off merchants and they want 37.50 p/h just to LOOK at it. Cheers Ronan

This happened to me. Have you tried pressing th headlight switch reallllllly hard?

There's a product called Grroom (twe r's not a typo) that they do in Halfrauds, it's pretty good stuff.

Its for oil pressure. Have you checked the oil level? If its when youre going round bends, it could be that you actually havent got much oil in there...

Right, a standard rear bumper, how much is one worth? I have two, both need work. I was considering getting them both done, so I could sell one on, dependant on if it would meke me a profit or not. ANy info would be great, I watched ebay but the ones I was looking at went ridiculously cheaply, or just didnt sell.

How do you see these extra readings?

Yeah Riley I have a dodgy headlight switch, I guess I will try the fuse and if that doesnt work, then I will see what happens when I replace the headlight switch. Yeah I've seen from here, and ClubGTi, that yours has had a few problems. It makes me depressed just looking at that list. Do you think our two cars combined could make one good G60?

What have you got wrong with your car? How long is your "to do" list? At the moment, this is the list I have, and I've had the car all of ONE MONTH... Replace the Crank Oil Seal (gearbox side) Find out why my car is misfiring between 4.5-6k Get a leakdown test done to see if the rings are fried Replace the rear brake compensator Repair the bodged headlight loom Replace the headlight switch Replace the fuse for my foglights Find out why my heater fan is so noisy Replace the cracked front splitter Replace the dented rear bumper Get the dents taken out of my bootlid/bit in between lights and bumper Fit my rear axle poly bushes Unseize the o/s/r brake caliper Have the paintwork mopped to cover up the lacquer peeling I need new brake pads Replace the broken bleed nipple on the o/s/f front caliper so I get a nice firm pedal Get a spot weld put on my CAT headshield, either that or remove it... Fix the wobbly handbrake trim/casing Replace the broken Driver's side handle find out why my water temp gauge doesnt work... Plans: Fit a FMIC, possibly the one I have in my mate's garage Refurb the wheels, or get some Porsche Turbo Splitties Get the arch lip taken out and the arches flared out Replace front numberplate with a vent for the FMIC A full respray or blowover Some more ICE, I don't have any front speakers... Get the headlining re-trimmed in black to match the rest of the car Maybe have something stitched into the seats If the rings are gone, possibly some nice new forged pistons, and bottom end bolts - that way I know it won't go again... Port and polish the inlet manifold Possibly a cam Thats it for now, it should keep me occupied for a while...

My fog switch doesnt work, ie the light doesnt even come on, so I'm guessing the fuse has blown. Can anyone tell me which fuse controls this please? Thanky muchly

I think you guys who are moaning about this thread need to chill out. You can't police every topic, and moan cos someone says the word poof. I have Nology leads! Can't commenton the quality, never had standard ones.

What am i missing? In the owners manual it says G's are 225lb/ft as standard!! Looks good tho, nice power curve.

Replaced a wheel bearing. Got annoyed with the knocking from the suspension at the front. Parked it up, left it.

Paint it.
