Not been on here for ages since selling my Silver C. My old old car,it was asuperb machine when I had it totally unmessed with. Jon the guy selling it is who I sold it to about 4-5 years ago. As for the wet footwell it will be the foilage seal in the scuttle tray/pan. There was never any rust round the windscreen area when I oened it. Hope this helps anyone who may be interested.

The car was first registered in August 1992 by the original owner who owned the car for 17 years. I bought it from him in 1999 and it has been dry stored and used sparingly normally only going for its annual MOT. It currently MOT untill the begining of September(however it will have a full years MOT for the new owner) The car is in excellent overall condition with no rust marks scratches dents or dings on the bodywork. It has full leather interior which is in superb condition no wear,tear rips or scratches. I have all the previous MOTs and service history to confirm the LOW mileage It has a Clifford CAT1 alarm system with cert. Since owning the car I have carried out numerous routine maintainence tasks including, new front discs and pads,oil and filters,aux belt,thermostat housing. The standard Speedline wheels have been fully refurbed in sparkle silver and are as new. They tyres are as new Toyos.A fifth spare is included in the same condition. This probably sounds too good to be true,but there are some bad points Which are : moisture in nearside indicator,heated seat loom to be fitted,heater control panel needs replaced(direction control knackered)probably be replaced before sale. Not exactly bank busters!!!!! Paricularly considering the condition of the car. I have priced the car at what I see as a fair price, I do not need to sell the car! I don`t want any part exchanges or timewasters.

The Pirelli is the same car as the ED30 apart from interior trim on the seats and different wheels. Same engine etc with the KO4 turbo better tuning potential over the standard GTI Don`t know what it is about the MK5 maybe thin paint as mine is the same. Particularly in black shows up every little mark scratch and swirl. Thats probably why most owners are on Detailing World too !! Great cars to drive and will leave an old Corrado for dead!!!!

Ok with the panel out of the car and looking down on it,can you check the two metal sliders under the left hand cog(this controls the direction of the airflow.) They both should have some resistance to pushing them from side to side. Experience shows that the lower slider will probably be loose and freely move back and forth. Can you check this out for me before I commit ???? Thanks Jonny

Thanks got a heater control and parcel shelf support from Cazza hopefully thats two items off the list. The headlight I only really need the nearside reflector,so if anyone has a light with busted glass or tabs I could take it !! ???
