Anyone using HIDS on their Corrado??? I have done a search and there seems to be no comparisons. What I would like to know is what is the best option for the Corrado. Does the uprated headlight loom and bulbs give as good performance as HIDS. Do HIDS run hotter than normal bulbs and if so will this effect the plastic reflectors? Price wise whats the difference as far as I can see HIDS seem to be more expensive. What about MOT time should HIDS not have a self levelling device/function or is that only fitted as standard? Any advice would be appreciated :thumbleft:

Well after reading Jim`s how to guide in The Sprinter,I decided to change my aux drive belt!!! Another relatively easy job completed in about half an hour!!!! Surprising to note that the replacement belt I got from Euro Car Parts was made by Continental and cost £18. The old belt I took off was a VW belt but had Continental manufacturing details on it. Exactly the same but one with the Vw lettering on it one without, priced accordingly by VW :bonk:

I can now answer my own question,2litres and by all accounts Redline MT90 oil. Jim beat me to it by seconds lol

Fitted new fuel filter,an easy job made difficult by VW`s stupid wee hose clamps. Whats the point in these clamps and how the hell do you get them off easily???? Replaced by ubiquitous jubilee clips.:thumbleft:

If its sorned and kept of the road you dont need insurance, therefore being off road it doesnt need taxed. If its stolen or mysteriously catches fire you will be covered by insurance whether taxed or not
-
