Anyone got a heater control panel that works?????? Or just a heater direction control cog ?? The condition of the panel doesnt matter its only the direction cog that has to be perfect!!

Spoke to the seller today and he confiirms that the auto box needsto be rev`d excessively to get drive at first but once up to speed it works fairly normally. He seems to think it ts like a normal car when the clutch is going.He is going to send me more pics to help me make up my mind. Also been onto Shiply to try to get carriage cost from Luton to here !!!!

I would advise against doing the conversion unless you can do it yourself. Just look at how difficult it is to sell a converted car. I would also guess that it would cost at least £6k to have a garage do it for you. You know your own engine by now so you know what your dealing with anything else s a bit of an unknown quantity

Refitted the engne plastics and the ignition cowling. All ready for MOT this week.

I looked at that car as a donor for my 2, but reality called as I would probably have kept it then there would be 3 Yeah thats the car has anyone actually been to see it ????? Refitted the freshly painted front bumper and fogs and indicators looking very impressive now!! Will refit engine plastics tomorrow and off for MOT at next week. Checked the mileage from last year---67772 now at 67782 another high mileage year in the Corrado!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been offered a VR6 auto very cheap and blackberry!! Apparently there is something wrong with the autobox,full details should be forthcoming over the weekend! Have not got lot of details at the moment,but I am interested in the potential for repair/conversion Question is should I consider buying it and convert it to manual,or persevere with the autobox. I have read a few threads on the autobox and by all accounts it seems to have the same repetitive faults. I really don`t need another Corrado but at this price it would be rude not to !!! Any thoughts??

I replaced my thermostat housing as it was leaking it was an easier job than I thought second time around. On checking the old housing I discovered that the raised lip that the gasket goes into at the block side had broken,just with age . I also fitted the lower temp thermostat which seems to be working nicely. This weekend mission is to refit my newly painted front bumper. Next step MOT!!

Bumper off pics !!!

Added some BBS goodness to the interior. Also fitted my newly refurbed Speedlines. Cleaned out under the rear arches and sent the front bumper off for paint:cool:
