Keep the old reg when you put the private one on But when/if you decide to sell the car you put the private plate on retention and the dvla will issue you with a plate from that year which is usually the same one but not always

Can you leave a piece of cardboard under the car at night after you've come back from a drive out just so you get an idea of any leaks or have you done that already?? Checked all your hoses?? as maybe theres a leak and its going onto the manifold and burning off leaving no trace ??

yeah just replace the seals as the oil cooler unit themselves can be quite expensive from VW

Bought from rimstyle but had probs with them rimstyle that is... first set got knock on way.. then wrong spacers... then wrong bolts.. had to buy bolts in the end took nearly 7 weeks den order.... but now well happy.. Have you dropped the beast off buddy at D&G??

Nah im not fitting 280 rears mate just standard replacement as they are looking rather tatty atm

heres my list none will increase bhp i just want a solid sound car for the time being Wavetrac LSD fitted (ready for if i go turbo or sc in future but may do 263's first) Jetex exhaust Vibatronic engine mounts road ones rear brake rebuild with mk4 calipers Oem gauges fitted 4 new cv joints front tie rod and ends renewed Tracking done And a few other bits that need looking into first

Will be fast as fook with that supercharger mate, mines gonna be there a while too with all the things thats getting fitted to mine none of the bits increase bhp though lol

Got the train back to stockport from kidderminster Jude, i hate public transport with a passion :gag: how you keep the engine bay on your storm that clean i dont know good work :D My car is in the capable hands of the boys at D&G until all my shiny new bits are installed enjoy lads :D
