Presume this is a VR6?
-
Yeah all corrados i thought had two reverse lights as standard
-
It is a pozi head screw but i found using a flat head better for gripping the screw. I assume your using small watchmaker type screw drivers as they work best with the room you have
-
Nope mines been remapped and ive vagcommed mine loads of times. The only way to disrupt the remap would be to go into the ecu itself and unplug the chip thats installed in it
-
No think it was on edition 38 but as i said i can be wrong sometimes lol
-
Sure i saw it months ago being broken for parts but could be totally wrong hope i am
-
Passenger side left hand side undertray theres a kick plate to the left its under that
-
You kind of have to look for any slight burn marks, mine was broke at the circular temp sensor part at the back of the seat base
-
Youll need to Vagcom it to be sure but usually the cause is the valves in the ABS pump become clogged and flag up and inlet valve error on vagcom. A quick fix might be to do a brake fluid flush with new fluid but cant guarantee that will work but might be worth a try as after that your prob looking to either change the abs ecu for a known working one as it might have water damage and/or change the abs pump for a known working one
-
Yeah i did you need to remove the leather from the seat base and if its the same as mine you'll find a break in the heated seat element that needs soldering, been working fine ever since http://wiki.the-corrado.net/heated_seat_repair.html
-
You need it VAGCOM'd mate the only way to be sure whats wrong

Been told in the past that these are the best NGK ones to get look like single point ones http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250408772145?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 Not saying these is your cause though as spark plugs are sparks plugs generally. Are any of the spark plugs gunked up with oil?

Well just received my parts from Vw classic parts in Germany and happy to say they are the correct parts as promised they are 16 euros each. So my to pennies worth is not to go through Vw heritage go through VW classic parts the bloke i emailed was great to deal with and parts arrived super fast. Delivery is 12 euros so not exactly cheap but for a part that i was under the impression was obsolete its a small price to pay http://www.vw-classicparts.de/bestand/index_e.html Id still say its worth getting something set up as an option as and when they do become obsolete Si so might be worth still looking to see if you can get replacement bushes made up as a fall back and cheaper option
-
Theres a stupidly designed ridge underneath the glovebox you need to get that over the bit on the dash. Its a bitch but perseverance will pay off. Also saw that ridge off the glovebox when you remove it to save hassle in the future

Did it stay dry enough to get on the bank? -
Vw classic parts probably your best bet
-
Top work Si, it seems like the best option long term if the nylon bushes can be made separately. These linkages are Rhd specific so cant see them being reproduced again.
