Mines awesome in the snow, even when i didnt have an lsd. Got to say it performs so much better than the beemers they were all over the news stuck in 2-3inches of snow

Its supposed to be like that fella, its for releasing the tension on the aux belt. EDIT We'll call that a draw Dave :-)

Did the job on Saturday, only problem we came across was not having the correct socket to undo the bolts on top of the cover, turns out they are triple square bolts, quick trip to B&Q and armed with the right socket everything went fine. Cleared Vag com fault and GF's car was back to being the silent assassin again. Cheers for the help Chris Jon

Cheers chris, so theres bolts holding the right coil pack cover down? i thought it just clipped on somehow...can i not just remove the coilpack cover on its own without removing the other ht lead guides?

Ive not removed the right hand side engine cover before (above the coilpack) does it just pull off once you have removed the HT leads?? Cheers Jon
