  1. just didnt kno if anyone had had any previous problems that were similar or the same, someone else said it could be the earth lead thats fubar, will have to check that aswell
  2. sweet thats cool mate! nice one
  3. are they just pieces of vinyl cut into circles with text on em? :) we had some done for a lad with the Hyundai H on em looked funkadelic!, ures look mint btw :)
  4. if you aint very patient and dont wanna keep trying and trying, the pre cut stuff from Trillogy is mint, its all the right sizes and shapes (hence pre cut - not called that for no reason duhh), much easier to fit than the roll stuff. i helped fit the rear windows on a megane with the pre cut stuff but i got pissed off at doing a flat piece of glass with the roll stuff. lol
  5. Right got the car the other week and its been fine, i then put my Kenwood Hu in and my amp and a sub and since this ( dunno if its anything to do with it, the wiring is all fine). the car seems to loose power, i dont mean pulling power i mean electrical power, twice on the way home from Brid it cut out as if there wasnt enuff electrical power, and tonight in the car when i drive along if i sometimes indicate the stereo goes off and starts again like its been turned off and if i flash full beam it does the same, there feels like there is a slight power short. I was wondering if anyone has had this before and what they did to fix it. I have a feeling it might be the alternator, i have fitted a new battery because the bloke who had it before me had to keep it on charge because it was going flat ( lack of driving it!) so i just put a new one on. Think im gonna go get an alternator test done this week sometime when i get chance. Anyone kno rough prices on a new alternator or can the brushes just be changed on them like i kno they can on some cars :) Thanx
  6. Exhaustuk in sheffield fitted my full system on my Bravo, cost £310 for cat-back and £170 for sports cat which was really well put together, would highly recommend 01142 447123 http://www.exhaustuk.com :)
  7. Help and Tips on Pretty much everything lol http://www.fixya.com/support
  8. just scanning through the post, not sure if this is what is happening with mine, when i first get into it (if its been sat a day) then just at dead straight if you turn the wheel either way it will make a small knock noise, once the car has been drove for maybe half a mile or a mile it just stops and the steering is perfect.

    Ford alloys!!

Na Fiat is 4x98 ;) Lancia might be aswell but im not sure Ford is 4x108 so will NOT fit a C without some sort of spacer kit all in all, not really worth it for the wheels, you looking to buy or sell? If its sell pm me some details i might know someone who may be interested if they are right ;) Edit - Wobble bolts aint dangerous unless fitted wrong (you would struggle to fit em wrong btw!) they sound alot worse than they are, they just have a variable PCD washer on them. perfectly safe, ive ran on them for more than 2 years until selling my bravo and never had any problems, seen plently of people who try to fit 4x100 on 4x98 cars without them. ends in tears and new hubs usually :) lol
  10. i questioned this whben i bought my car, but both the Comma and Carlube book both list 10w/40 semi for the engine. obv if it has done millions of miles then get something thicker but until then im sticking with 10w/40
  11. well chuff i didnt kno that waw there, mod feel free to close - repost :D ta
  12. What aftermarket steering wheels have people got?, or just not standard corrado, thinking of getting a new one but aint sure yet, ta :D
  13. perhaps its the fitting of the unit thats to be blamed and not the equipment, afaik the actual alarms have lifetime warrenty?? but from the experience i had i wouldnt opt to go for a clifford and definatly wouldnt recomend GAP to anyone
  14. varied opinions on these alarms, i had the clifford 950 and hated it, a right waste of money, remote start had its entertainment value for the first 15 or 20 mins then it just went from bad to worse. Gap fitted mine and tbh i was quite disappointed in the quality of service and the fitting quality, wires just randomly kicking about and i had to have a new remote start unit fitted. this took 3 phone calls to get em to come and look at it. for the first 2 all i got was "They dont go faulty". then they tried to charge me for the call out, even tho the alarm was less than 3 months old. Even with a new box fitted it just randomly went onto diesel start mode (so it gives it about 10-15 secs before firing the engine up to allow for glow plugs). So from my personal experiences I will never have another clifford, will never use Gap again. By the time i sold the car (an entire 18 months after having the remote start fitted) it crapped out again but just couldnt be bothered to have to pay for it fixing, so sold the car with it there but not working
  15. most have commented on how tidy the bodywork is for the age of the car, it spends most of its time locked up in a garage i rent just so no vandals can be at her!
  16. car looks mint, really liking the ddi dials, just out of curiosity are they bought like that or are they from another car??
  17. is it standard for them to be polished? cause if its not then they are lol
  18. They have no branding on the centre cap, but i was imformed by the previous owner they are BBS upgrade for the corrado?? might be wrong tho. They ave ben polished and they look sweet as, im in 2 minds weather to buy any wheels or anything for it cause they look nice lol. but i want some wheels for show time
  19. Promised i would get one and here she is, got it last night and boy is it fun :D love it, from the ride to the power to the seating, everything is spot on picked it up from near mansfield so got to drive it all the way back home :D 132k, chain & tensioner done at 113k, new rad, Eibach springs, new shocks, lots of reciepts, FSH (first 10 at VW), Not too bad and fuel either, does about same as my 1.8 Bravo used to get lol. Plans for it but dunno where to start hehe. Already has the Lupo wiper upgrade( or so im told but it has aero wipers so i guess they are lol) anyways enough babble to the pics, havent managed to get any of my own because its been dark as soon as i get home from work and i wanna polish it before i take some pics :D so images from auto trader
  20. Right, I'm going on thursday i hope to look at a corrado that ive seen on autotrader from The Corrado Specialist (or so it says on his site :) ), just wondered if anyone has had any dealings with him good/bad?. and aswell would anyone with a VR6 or with some knowledge on corrados or the VR6 engine be available to come and have a look at it with me. I expect alot of people will be at work but i guessed its worth asking aint it :D the link for the car is http://search.autotrader.co.uk/es-uk/ww ... x_mileage= and the link for his site is http://www.townsendcarsales.co.uk/22802/stock.htm anybody who thinks they can or are willing to if you would reply to this and ill let you kno what time ill be coming thru etc and plan where to meet you :D BTW going by his area code this are the results for where he is Atherstone (Warwicks) 01827 Clifton Campville 01827 Harlaston (Staffs) 01827 Tamworth 01827 Thanks People Phil

  23. is it only a mild fouling of the caliper, if so as said before have you tried taking an angle grinder to the caliper, on tried using a 3mm spacer, or a combination of both???, Grayston make 3mm spacers if ya cant find em, if you still struggle give us a shout! :)
  24. might sound a bit violent but try pressing a flat head into it and "screwing" other than that, make sure its properly soaked in WD and get a little hammer and a pointy device and try turning it so far with that till u can grab with pliers?
