  2. even porsche back to the late 80's i belive have had this! probably not the only manufactor to have done it! lol
  3. bet you bought the one with your car in!
  4. yea its usually about 20% of brakingn is done by the rear. but if giving it some teddy there still gonna get pretty toasty touch em if u fancy after giving it some beans! lol - Edit dont,. i dont want anyone blaming me when they have no fingerprints any more! :D lol
  5. i bought it the other day and its been sat on my pc desk since. ive just opened it to look and there she be! looking good mate :D
  6. as someone said before its because the brakes are "hot" when you apply the handbrake. metal expands when hot and contracts when cold. Biggest hate about rears discs is this. When giving it some beans the discs get hot and expand. you finish and have a massive smile when you pull up on an incline and apply the handbrake, you wander off and during this time the discs cool down and contract. this means the pads are sat where they were with "big" discs and the discs are now small. so no handbrake power.. wasiest way round it, leave the car in gear lol. Lucky buggar you are tho!
  7. looks well smart in those pics :D seeing it all shiney there makes me like the silver bits more, when you took photos up close of em i wasnt sure but seeing them across the entire car in 1 pic makes em look cool :D
  8. n ext sunday! its getting the coilovers fitted on friday coming lol so will give it a whirl, ive got like £1100 worth of stuff within arms reach of myself and i wanna fit it! lol :D
  9. looks sweet does that! 14months!? that seems a while to be away, were you waiting for insurance or something? or was it an on the side job?
  10. Mine has started making a row! meh - i have used the Wiki and i have the general idea of how to change it but im scared incase it all goes really wrong lol it has only just nicely started making a ratteling noise in the past couple of days, would you say its Jamf? or would a reagrease see it done lol. BTW i did the search and came up with http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=7833&st=0&sk=t&sd=a this topic, is there anyone else who is doing this? or is it a garage jobbie?
  11. you have no idea how much i wanna fit em, but i want em to be right - coilovers going on on friday so.......... sunday night, we will have to see hey ;)
  12. tramlining is the least of my worries, i had 7x17" wheels on my MK1 Clio and 7.5x18" on the Bravo :D gotta love the extreme! lol. you gotta stop tugging at me about these wheels there sat about 15 foot away from me and i wanna fit em so badly, every time i go downstairs i see them and i wanna put them on! lol
  13. no matter where you put it in its gonna be £20 worth still just the amount of fuel you get will be alot less! :D hehe i paid £1.06 today, thats gone up from what it was :(
  14. i kno tell me about it, when i get the coilovers on im gonna put the moderlines on just to see how they sit and to see how much archwork ill need for my driving etc :)so will take a couple of snaps ! :D
  15. just goto any signwriters or vinyl spot and they will be able to chop you some up in no time. shouldnt cost more than a couple of quid anyways!
  16. Donnington Park 4-6th April, anybody going, ill be going down and just wondered if there would be any of you's there :) Track time! :D - well maybe
  17. the modernlines are quite heavy but they are very nice lol, the eibach springs are very comfortable to be fair, remember its on its standard 50 profile tyres atm like. it does sit a tad lower on the rear than on the front and thats my main reason for getting coilovers, to try and level it out or even make it go the other way! lol. Went to Beverly today to put my private reg on the car and have done it! So instead of looking for M343FTN you will have to look for C16 PMB :) Cheers! - TW the eibach springs will be up for sale when the coilovers go on. i simply wont have any use for them :)
  18. na lowering to a certain degree doesn't make a car impractical, its when you lower excessivly, which lets be fair alot of people on here want to do!, that things can become unpractical, mine is currently lowered about 40mm and it doenst bottom out on anything *touch wood*. just keep your eye for speed humps and take them slowly if your worried, drive either thru the middle or a side over the bump as to lower the chance of it bottoming out! unless you have speed cliffs around you then you should be fine :)
  19. off to get my private reg put on in beverly tomorrow hopefully, got excited and ordered my coilovers which came yesterday! FK Highsport, are they easy enough to fit, is there a way of telling how old the top mounts are, im sure its had full new suspension within the past 3 years (its done about 5k in this time) so i dont kno weather ill need to replace them or not, are they expensive or just summot that should be done regardless of how long they been on. i want it lowering before ISTS aka donny show, so i dunno if i will have the wheels on by then, need arch work doing i think :? PICS TO FOLLOW!!
  20. Welcome to the forum! bunch of helpful people on here! :D
  21. Welcome to the site mate :) Nice looking corrado think the wheels look well in that colour on that colour car, what are they They look like TSW Volcano but i may be wrong?
  22. when the tide has nicely gone out in scarborough its quite solid still, keeps all its water and stays hard. i remember sitting there and amush in his R32 skyline just going for a "blast" on the beach, aparently if you keep going you wont get stuck. he didnt get stuck, i was completely gobsmacked that he took it on, especially with his FOR SALE posters in the back, needless to say, his mate in his vectra got stuck and we had to push him out. we get a few people getting stuck here aswell. best is on our north all the jet ski-ers go out and bring there All terrain vehicles down. you see some of the wideboy viatras and freelanders stuck. they see wet grass and s**t themselves so why they take them on the beach ill never kno :D
  23. from the wheels i recieved the "new" schmidt modernline has nowhere near the dish it used to have, check my post in readers rides, they are still very very nice but not as dished as i thought they would be
  24. add to the post, Sony have just released the MEX-BT2600 which has outputs Rear and Sub if memory is correct, used it to stream audio from my phone and its mint! excellent unit for less than £150!
