It's above the long line of fuses, in the middle and set back a bit. So I suppose you could say it's behind in a way... Let me know if you still can't find it and I'll take a picture ok,thanks mate. maybe this afternoon I'll try and find it
-
so it is behind the fusebox, isn't it? I mean, not on it's top, but behind? thanks :)
-
Hi! could you please post a picture or a ms-paintbrush drawing ( ) of where the 'hidden fuse' is located? thanks!

first message updated :)

this happened on mine too and it came to be a loosen battery tip (connector/wire/¿¿¿)
-
thanks a lot for your reply but the thing is I did only a "reset" and it all worked fine then. if it was a shorted wire I think it would have not worked with a resed, would it? i am not saying it can't be, but it is very strange

yes, this month was passing through without anything breaking .... until today :pukeright: I had noted some times that when operating an electric window switch, the relay clicked, but when getting to the top/bottom, it didn't, so I couldn't use the other one unless i clicked the first's switch again... but today it has gone another way. Without operating them, I have tried, at first, to press the button and it has made nothing at all... and nor the other one... but, to my surprise: the central locking wasn't working.... until I have disconnected and reconnected the battery positive wire (like the way one resets the MFA). After that, everything has come back to work again.. UPDATE: 27-04-09 i have tried twice to take the negative of the battery apart, and it has made no difference at all to neither the CL nor the EW... any ideas? is there any way to "bridge" the electirc windows switches so I can opperate them provisionally??? thanks! any ideas? thanks! SECOND UPDATE: 28-04-09 It WAS a blown fuse  which takes me to think about the reset I did by desconnectering the battery the day before yesterday and which made everything work again    and, secondly, takes me to think about... ¿¿what the h3ll drives a fuse to get blown?? may be an espontaneously earth?????     after replacing it, I have been normally operating the EE and it hasn't blowed .... pffff I was about to forget what corrado ownership feels like :brickwall:

you can really do it in a weekend time. it is very, very, very easy to do, I would say a 4 out of 10 maybe... but as said before, you need 1000/10 of patience  I would recommend the following: 1. use a small mirror (like the one women usually keep in their handbag) 2. use paper stickers to label ALL wires you will unplug. By ALL, I mean A L L. 3. buy a "fishing worm box" so you can place all bolts and sort them down by categories and also label them (i.ex. "rigt vent bolts", "centre console bolts"..). that's all you need, apart from 4 hours for disassembling+labelling, and ~4h to put everything back to it's place. I guarantee that you will use the heater even in summer once you have done it

about 400& done in a garage, or about 40& done by yourself. follow the guide I posted just 3 posts before in this thread. it is a two-afternoon-job. I did it myself in a full dark garage only with a small torch and a mirror and got no problems at all :) use a mirror to remove both of the screws on the engine bay, it will help you a lot !

It may be time for doing this: http://www.corrado-club.ca/forum/viewtopic.php?t=8848

I had it done in my valver. you need: calipers carriers discs pads needles to say everything came out from a g60 ;) ***calipers, are both girling ¿54? in g.60 and 16v, same number (54), but they are substantially different. and yes, it is worth it  -

helllo. the thing is, once correctly idleing, the car runs perfectly without any lack of power... May I try to start it from stone cold for just 10 secs or so, then stop it and leave one hour or so... then start it up and see what happens? what do you think about it? and what conclusions should I get from this? thank you for your help :

hello, thank you for your repply :) I don't have the run-on fan switch :pale: I read a thread in here some time ago, and many more KR owners didn't have it o_O I have a bold in where this switch should be located :? :? :? Anyway, when stopping the engine, I always turn the key up to the first position until the fan switches off.. then release the key and leave the car... so I don't think this would be causing my problem, don't you think? Please reply, thanks :):)
