I read out there that there was a petrol pipe which was located near exhaust manifold, and when it breaks.... it may cause the car to set on fire... Legend?? I don't know  Anyway, I would have a look there :hitler:

okay great. I found some kind of user manual for golf 2 and jetta, including kr engine. with many "how-to" test almost everyting related to k-jetronic and so on(e) (is it written with e? :D) I spent this afternoon testing all of that and I think my startup problem comes from ISV.. I have a question about cleaning it. Do I have to apply 12v to the ISV so that it opens, and then fill it with gas?? or without 12v? I did it without, and it didn't make any difference between after and before,,,

I recover this post, to know the way it was solved (if it was..) because I have the same problem. I have disconnected the blue/white wire and the spoiiler doesn't work, and neither does the mfa (but oil temp, driving time do). however, in the mfa cheat mode, mpg does work

well, here there was one of my startup / idling problems. The accelerator cable didn't push this switch. I have been reading a lot about this fu**** switch, and have tested mine.... so if anyone has any questions, I will solve them if I can but here comes a question: I have read there are two switches. the idling one, and the full-charge one. where is the full-charge microswitch? I have read there, that another of my C's problems may be right there... What happens is that when I push the accelerator pedal against the floor ( :norty: ), the car accelerates much less than if I push it slowly (I mean, pushing while it is accelerating).......... and this may probably be a problem coming from the full-charge microswitch...

sorrry for placing my question here. Could the blue/white wire be causing mfa not to work? I mean if having this wire plugged into the stereo interceps the speedo inner speed signal?

I usually use skin or hand-care cream, for example "nivea" :D

the second one is a screw-holder (I can't say it better, sorry) :D

yes, I do.

yes I was thinking about it. What really confuses me is the fact that it is only sometimes... and most usually when it has been some time off. BUT take, for example, this morning. It had been parked for about 24h and it started up immediately with no problems

well the thing is, it also works bad when warm... :? what do you mean with "a bit tired"? and what sensors you mean? thanks for your help!!!

hello. I have read all topics found with the search utility, and have neither found no answer to my problem nor any post about the same thing.. I own a KR and I have the following problem: when I startup the engine, about 90% times I do it, it starts doing like "trac - trac - trac" at 300-400rpm. Then, about avg. 5 - 10 seconds, it makes like brommm and keeps itself at 1.000rpm (where it works OK). It happens when it is cold and hot outside, and with cold and hot engine. I can appreciate it happens when the car has been off for a while (30minutes or more, aprox.). I have tested the cold injector when the engine is at about 80

My point really is that chipping or remapping an engine that's fuelling incorrectly is not smart: get the basics right first, before you decide what to do next. +1

could anyone place some photos? thanks :) :D :D
-
be careful with it, because if it is not injecting enough fuel, you could have serious problems
-
yes, it is what I was refering to :notworthy:
-
it should be adjusted by a professional. I can't say CO in English  I am spanish, maybe you use a differen word for it :D CO machine is the one which they connect to the back box
-
did myself an oil change + oil filter + air filter; little thing for many of you, but the first time for me... I am not virgin now! :norty:
-
well, in my opinion, you should go and adjust the CO with the specified machine... anyway, kr cams improove at high revs, you knew it, didn't you? ...I have a couple of KR cams for sale :norty: :norty: :norty:

well I know it should have been posted in the 'interior' forum, however, as it contains a problem refering to spoiler... Well, the question is: why does the spoiler switch have 5 pins??? As it has no "interior light", it should only have 3, shouldn't it? one for up, one for down, and one for ground??? I post it because I think my spoiler problem would come from the fu***** switch :hitler: :hitler: :hitler:
