Ron's Blackberry VR6 - A11 VRX - Getting her back on the road
StueyB replied to Hofmiester's topic in Members Gallery
Absolutely love the YouTube Wiring Vid. Keep up the good work mate. -
Look forward to seeing the progress on this.

Does the recondition item does look externally different at all..? I.e blasted/painted metal body..?
-
Running this exact set on my Corrado VR6 since start of last year. The quality is excellent. I'm gunna say it, better than Goodridge. I've had the rear's on and off recently and they look box fresh after a quick wipe over.
-
Running a Quaife in mine and it's very impressive.
-
I'll take the last pair.

Spotted this earlier. Looks like a good bit of kit. You might want to break out in a cleaner format i.e. list what's included and what's not included as it took a few reads to figure out exactly what's going on. Entirely up to you but my experience of eBay is you've literally gotta spell things out plan and simple to avoid any complication.

Corrado pre-facelift badgeless 3 bar grill cheap!

That's a nice item for the early boys. Noticed you're in Bedford too. Shouldn't have much trouble spotting a Nugget Yellow Rado. I keep my eyes peeled. -
Original VW Colour..?
-
Swapped mine start of last year to a new original VAG item and the difference it makes to tidying a bay up is huge i reckon. Work the price tag IMO. Makes checking coolant level a damn sight easier too, ;)

What does "or £35 if it's BER" mean...?
-
Got a couple of the VW plastic items for sale. £13 posted each. Pm for payment details if interested.
-
lilfuzzer: could you pm me with what you have. *sorry to slightly hi-jack
-
Really good price given the worked undertaken. Best of luck with the sale. Looks the biz.
-
Ok no worries. This is technically the same, pretty sure the 1H2 is a revision number.
-
Same part, just earlier part designation. *** 614 217
-
Yep. Will do both. Be in touch later today.
-
Complete unit with valve block. Confident it'll bare the 1H2 614 217 A part number. However if not it will definitely fit a 95 VR as it was identical to the one I pulled off my car (95 VR) and the one I replaced it with. Can confirm later if required...? But will fit.

I have one suitable for a 95 VR6. Bought off a fellow forum member in unknown condition. You are welcome to it as I ended up buying a known working item for a few more pounds. £35 delivered.

I found out that entirely removing the outer door frame seal makes removing the triangles a piece of cake as it's releases the tension on the triangle itself. However I realise in most cases, this doesn't help as you have no need to remove the seal entirely...
-
Hidden screw on the inside of the door under a small plastic cap towards the hinge and door shut. Roughly opposite the triangle on the outside. This holds the triangle in place but the outer door seal that runs down to this triangle keeps is snug so after the removing the screw you have to carefully slide the triangle out. Just don't force it as you'll end up snapping the threaded screw tube, thus rending the item broken. Hope that helps.
