  1. Hey mate, I've pm'd you a couple of times now re: my order. No response. You've been on yesterday and today but no word..? What gives..?
  2. Ben, I'll drop you a text and we'll sort me coming round for a 'butchers'. :)
  3. Price posted for a the PAS bolt + bracket please assuming its the cylindrical type from the late car.
  4. Will do. I am running Chrome via Mac, not sure if this could be the difference. ---------- Post added at 4:57 PM ---------- Previous post was at 4:53 PM ---------- Cache clear and a restart seems to have solved it for the time being. Thanks.
  5. Bump back to front page. Very reasonably priced Becker considering the £350+ brand new price.
  6. I'm getting a frequent 502 'Bum' page when using Google Chrome trying to view an actual parts for sale thread. Can reach the parts for sale listing page but nothing after that will load correctly. I've solved this my using Safari which doesn't seem to have this issue but it's most annoying as my first choice of browser is usually Chrome.
  7. Ok, no worries. I don't quite need this just yet but if you still have them in a few weeks time, I'll go full price,
  8. Round the corner from the main hotel entrance turned into a car wash early Sunday morning, I think someone found a tap and then everyone got involved.
  9. Such a small world. I was bidding on the same engine as a spare last night, assuming it was the one on eBay. I'm much happier that I lost out on it now, knowing where it's destined.
  10. Also sorry to hear about this. I think it might have been your car I saw when I dropped a couple of gearboxes off @ Stealth recently. Looked great even in a slightly pulled apart state. Hope you get this resolved without your wallet taking too much of a battering.
  11. Thanks mate. To say that I was happy with the final product would be an understatement. They really do know what they are doing @ Perfect Coatings, Meppershall, Beds. Echo your sentiments on durability. I rattle painted a bracket earlier on for my rebuild and pulled paint off just re-installing some fittings. Case in point.
  12. Yep. Sold to the man above. Just the Becker left now.
  13. Is indeed a type of induction kit and it does replace the standard air box. The CDA part stands for Carbon Dynamic Airbox. I can't advise how this would work for a 2L 16v as I have had no experience with these engines. In the fitment of the BMC to a VR6 it simply replaces the air box and is connected to the MAF via silicone coupler and some jubilee clips. All wires are post air box so nothing needs to be modified.
  14. Ben, I went in 2010 and it was a fantastic trip. I stayed at the event designated hotel and we were there a few days before the show. Each evening in the lead up to the show on the Sunday, the hotel car park turns into a pre-show event. For me it was more about the road-trip and days before the show than the show itself. But I can highly recommend going & it can be done on a budget if planned right. This year - Worthersee.
  15. Another vote for powder coat here. I've rattle can painted a few inlets in my time and they look good after paint but have no durability. Just request a satin silver finish. Most coaters can accommodate this. I went for a satin black finish as I can't stand gloss black powder coating. This was a few years ago now but I can't honestly say it looks exactly the same today after a couple of removal & refittings as well.
  16. CDA has been compared with a model bought for a Corrado VR6. It has the same outer girth as well as inlet + outlet diameters so the conclusion is it's a 85-150 model suitable for cars over 1600cc including the VR6.
  17. As soon as I know, you'll know. Going to try and compare my personal CDA with his tomorrow.
  18. Quick check has found the following info on sizes. Two Universals: CDA 70-130 & CDA 85-150. CDA 70-130 is up to 1600cc. CDA 85-150 is over 1600cc. This was used on 2.0 so in summary, this should be suitable however I'm just waiting for confirmation from the owner.
  19. Evening all, Posting these items up for sale on behalf of a friend as I thought they'd be of interest to Corrado folk. First item is a rather awesome head unit, a Becker 7995 in very good condition. Everything intact and comes with the addition of iPod connection for iPod/iPhone users! Although this won't work with the new iPhone 5, adapters can be bought to convert the existing connection. Stereo looks very OEM, with very minimal amount of buttons, controls and flashing lights. I'm sure I don't have to mention the sound quality of it, it's second to none and is a good addition to a decent/good sound system. I won't go into the full item details, complete spec can be found here: http://www.dnacaraudio.co.uk%2Fbecker-grand-prix-7995-becker-bluetooth-stereo-becker-grand-prix-blue%2F&h=-AQEJO4b3 This unit is the one without the sat nav so in some people's eyes, it's classed as the better model. There are no preouts on the rear for an amp etc... but you can buy a module or a splitter to solve this issue. Comes with standard ISO Loom setup so should be plug and play in most cars. Pics [excuse the username pics, my friend had it advertised on Edition38 before he pulled it down after countless stupid questions/posts]: This item has been priced very much for a quick sale. I've had to resist the temptation to buy it myself at this price, as I really don't need it but do want it in my life. Price: £140.00 + P&P ------------------------------------------------------------ Second item is a BMC Carbon Dynamic Airbox - SOLD. Both items can be collected from Cranfield, Bedfordshire if preferred. Any questions, feel free to post below.
  20. Interested to see what comes out of this. Very much in a similar situation and need to either get my old head rebuilt, buy new or wait for a big valve head to come up for sale. On a slight side note, I'll likely have a new set of Victor Reinz Valve Stem Seals up for sale shortly. Seem to come with a complete head gasket set but I never end up using them.
  21. Just to confuse the party, I've seen JOM brand coilovers for Mk2's/Corrado's etc with red springs. 9/10 they are V-Maxx eBay specials tho.
