1. LOL a little way off but progress is slowly being made. i finished fitting the s2 front caliper upgrade last night so just need to get them all bleed tonight lack of funds halts getting it finished really. still got to buy intercooler, oil cooler, rad, and hoses before i can see if it runs...
2. i fitted the ASD box to mine. its a straight fit apart from you have to swop the shift tower over from the g60 box as the ASD box had a rod change setup originally.

i had a similar problem i cut out the rusty bit then got some steel and put a 90 bend to form the lip then bashed with hammer on a sand bag to get the shape right using the part ide cut out as a template. not easy but doable hope this helps mate! oh also i filled the lip with under seal slightly higher on one side to stop the water sitting there and rusting it again. it should drain out nicely now
4. Hi There cuda, see your keeping busy. i have noticed you have a different lower panel under the glove box to our euro corrados.?? wonder why that is?
5. looking good:thumbleft:
6. Yes its connected between reservoir and pump presume to cool pas fluid. Allways wondered if it really gets hot enough to warrant one but it's there so presume it is...

10. injectors have been refurbed so fited them along with manifold and finished off pulleys and covers. also made up an additional heat guard to make sure the exhaust doesnt melt the steering gator engine is finally ready to go in sunday
11. ive only ever done it when the gearbox is off so made a locking tool that attaches to the flywheel. your idea with holding the crank bolt may work but ive not tryed.( make sure it doesnt undo the crank bolt i believe it could in theory) would putting the car in gear work, foot on brakes if its in the air/no wheels on?
12. what intercooler is that? is it a wagner tuning one? if so have you gone for the rallye or golf g60 one? ive read the rallye one only fits if you modify/cut off the tow eye bracket, ide be interested in your findings
13. i had to renew brakelines when i done mine. they wouldnt come out of compensator
14. thanks. it doesnt really show in the photos but i had powdercoated all the parts that can be a textuerd flat black. all the other parts i have sprayed using VHT Flat black engine enamel. it has taken me ages prepping and spraying it all LOL
15. fitting the outlet eliminates the original black box which is prone to leaks and not available any more i believe. also with the outlet you can hear the supercharger more as the original acts as a silencer.
16. im getting closer now... ill let the pictures do the talking
17. the only difference between early and late 16v/G60 beam are the handbrake cable clips. they are different design one pushes on, one slides on. i found out when fitting a late 16v to an early g60
18. ive used long nose pliers when i got a flat tyre with no key successfully
19. sorry anna i seem to have misplaced my old one at the moment. my dad has been moving all my stuff about in our garage so god knows where hes put it. hopefully lilfuzzer can help you.
20. i havnt used them but http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/gladen-motorsport i have and would recommend. what you looking to buy?
21. hi anna i can send you my one again if you like?
22. when my pedal done this it was the hose between the reservoir and clutch master. it had perished and was letting air in to the system. its worth checking anyway if the clutch slave is leaking you would see fluid coming out of the inspection cover on the gearbox ( well mine did anyway) are you loosing fluid?
23. usually blue or blue /white on most headunits is what i have used before
24. that was a quick reply, thanks ill get my greens tested and put them in then. thanks again ps loving the progress on your car:thumbleft:
