  1. I quickly had a go at half time last night and did just this but used levels. Petrol stained them. Not what was required :)
  2. Quick Question. How did you do that in photoshop?
  3. I did yes. That model was unreal! the time he must have put into it doesnt bear thinking about. Never know, I may get a job with RightMove........ :geek:
  4. It has been suggested that my next project should be the rado :)
  5. I work on it at night while watching the telly. Probably been around 10 hours or so in total. There have been a few scrapped walls when I got the measurements wrong or just cut a few mm too short. At the moment I'm filling in all gaps and straightening corners with filler to make it as perfect as possible. All held together with some trusty Neil bucannon art attack glue :)
  6. After having quite a large Argos delivery, i had some cardboard lying around that I decided to put to good use over the winter. So I decided to built a model of my house. I'm by no means an expert in model building but thought I would showcase my work so far. The building is built to the scale of 1 Inch = 1 MM so all walls, roofs, windows etc are exact. Still a long way to go though. I have two walls painted up and ready for the odd decorative touch. Also im quite amazed how strong it is. Could probably stand on the roof and it wouldn't cave.
  7. Im no wheel expert. What are the audi alloys called? as would need a better angle of them (same angle as the angle of your car) Or is it the colour of the wheel provided you want on the alloys currently on the car?
  8. Hopefully going to make it to Ultimate dubs this Sunday. Bens gutted he cant take the VR to its first show as he forgot and sent his steering wheel to be refurbed  Went to Dub Freeze in Stafford few weeks back to find we were the only Corrado's outside (Always the same)
  9. Only just noticed your post from 21st Feb. 16v doing great thanks. MOT coming up in June and going to be getting a bit of work done but its just little bits here and there at the moment (mainly my wiring loom melting, my own fault as accidentally trapped a wire under my battery) but all fixed. Getting a bit more adventurous with the jobs we try now. Would never have touched electrics a year ago. The 8v looks better and better with every post. I do miss the Sherry Pearl :) And is it the Sony Explode cd player you have put back in? I thought it went well with the grey interior (was also my 21st birthday present :))
  10. I've seen somewhere someone say yes, but I couldn't say for sure from which model. I have an inkling from a passat
  11. Do you still have; Black A B C Pillars - £20 set Rooflining (grey) £10 passenger front hub And where in derby are you? Are you around on Saturday for me to come and have a look around?
  12. Random question. From your sources where you get these headlight switches, would they happen to do interior / sunroof modules in black? Pic below. They are VERY rare and trying to find one is becoming a pain. Also im thinking a DIY job wouldnt look the best. Any help would be appreciated
  13. I'm interested in these. Saves me a trip to Audi. Just a couple of points; How much all in would you want? Is this all I need to complete the mod? And would i get the receipt for my SH?
  14. Have you tracked the driver down yet and rammed the 8v up his arse!! When you said on your side of the road i assumed it would be a narrow twisty road with no markings. No excuse for that corner really
  15. Personal i dont red red line it everywhere. I go upto 2.5k and change gear. So 115bph or 400bhp.....who cares. Both as fast as each other on the work run in traffic. Which is what the 8v is all about. There is no doubt the VR or G60 are quicker if you want to drive like a stabbed rat, but when you want a comfy, smooth drive while not being kicked in the back by 400 horses and not resorting to a Corsa, the 8v is perfect. Its a Corrado in the end of the day, and i would never have had one at 21 if not for the 8v engine.
  16. +1 for 8v lovin. Easy to drive (past petrol stations) and enough grunt to be comfy up hills :)
  17. So you and the Mrs were parked up alone in the forest........I say no more :thumbleft:
  18. Looks fantastic sat out there James. Makes me want my 8v back :(
  19. Im with Admiral with a 2.0 16v and pay £600 (im 22)

    Wiring

Does anybody know where i can buy some wiring to replace my old stuff? Specifically the standard headlight wiring that connects to the new uprated loom
  21. VW NEVER get it right first time. Might try midland VW.
  22. My rear exhaust rubber has split and VW have given me a completely different looking rubber. Can anybody confirm this will fit or do I have the wrong one?
  23. Plugged my satnav into my lighter today and it fell apart inside the lighter. A ring of metal got jammed in there and all my electrics shorted for a few seconds. Now the clock, milage etc only turn on when they key is in the ignition and the alarm beeps 5 times when locked instead of 2. im hoping this is a fuse. any help welcome :(
