Started car today after work, switched aircon on and nothing. After 2 minuter driving aircon kicked on and started blowing colder air than was before. Have to give it a good service and look for all connectors, something definitely is wrong.

Just back from a car to double check everything. Air comp kicks in, revs goes down a little bit, air coming from vents is much colder than without aircon switched on but it's not as I wanted it to be. It's not so hot now as was in early morning hours, I had aircon switched on and was sweating inside a car. Think it's a good idea to give it a service and regas, but car must pass MOT first.

Recently bought a Corrado with aircon in it. Tried it today as was very warm and to be honest I'm very disappointed. I know it's an old system and nothing to compare with new climatronic system. I use to drive a 10 years old audi allroad and aircon was very cold, even freezing I could say. Corrado aircon is miles away from it and just wondering if I need a regas or it's just like it works.

Good work withe the brake pipes. Did you manage to do this only on the car stands ?? Is there enough place ?? Was doing some work like that and wasn't much comfortable.

try the relays, 109 is ecu and 167 is the fuel pump

will have one later one. and yes, maybe it depends form alarm system but my one works perfect with old handle without central lock cable. What I know is that alarm is wired into central locking system and will give signal to lock all the locks, cable in handle is needed only to give signal to central locking system when you turn key in handle lock if you use remote locking you don't need this cable.

don't think I will be allowed to use spray paint inside my flat :( I will get an airbrush stuff if will be enough interests to make worth buying it.

Color match 100% to new factory leather but to be honest before I started painting color was different between leather and all the plastics, plastics were a bit different shade and more shiny. This picture will show you a difference. Leather gaitor was painted. Plastic surround is genuine vw beige plastic with very good clean. Front seat was painted.

Worst are front seats, I'm doing everything in my flat after work. Full interior can be done in 2-4 weeks, depends how bad is. I don't have much space and can do one part after another. If there is no cuts all parts except front seats can be done in less than one week but front seats are the worst. It took me 5 days to do my driver seat and 3 to do passenger one. You can't rush the process and you can't put thick coats of paint so process is slow as every coat must be dry before you can apply another one.
