  1. Before I start spending money on the car, I want to protect it..

I plan on going for a Clifford as I've had em on most of my cars, however I'm not sure wether to go CAT1, or say Concept 100, and a CAT2 immobliser :? I have a fitter I've used in the past whos very good.. just unsure as to what to go for?

I found my last CAT1 abit of a pain to use, the proximity sensor was to sensitive, had to use valet mode etc, I just want somthing with R/C/L (which they do anyway) and protect the doors, glass etc, and say an immobilser to try and prevent theft!

I'm stuck, what would you guys recomend?

  2. good stuff mate...your polo looked great by the way!! it stood out from the crowd at me, shame you couldn't stick around i woulda liked to say hello.

So wheres the corrado from then mate?? did you travel far to get it? was it cheap? not tellin ? ahaha

happy birthday mate for this week and i'll see ya soon i guess...it'll be good to meet ya cos i didnt even realise you had a polo! and i too had one...now we've both got corrados about the same time...atleast i hope i do get one soon! :?

    Hi Sanj

Thanks for the comments on the polo, we noticed alot of folks looking at it as we drove up, and when we arrived we was asked if we wanted to participate in the show & shine, I laughed, never thought it was thats clean... as for sticking around, mate we got there about 11.00 and I was collecting the C which is why we left so early..

The C is from Fleet, about 70miles away, I did see alot of cars, even one B4 I picked up myn which is in the trader advertised as 'good condidtion' mate, it was a dog! nothing worked, it had low mileage, but it was such a nail, I said no way straight away! price wise, I got myn for under 2k which I don't think is too bad, theres some stunners out there, but there up for alot more money! :(

As for meeting up, yeap that fine, wehn you get your C we'll meetup..

As for the polo thing, I'm registered on that porka.net and have made comments on your car b4 on a few posts, I'm known as Bally there too...

Goodluck with the C search, it'll be worth it in the end... :D

  3. I havent seen any pics yet, but I'm sure they'll be pics up soon..

My cars Navy Blue, its totally standard (not for long!) running 15" rivage rims of a golf cabbie, mileage is 123k.. its a 1991 H reg, loads of history, 3 owners from new.. all the electrics work, even the sunroof! bodywork has a few scraps etc, but nothing abit of TLC won't sort! 8)

  4. Cars ok mate, going well no problems at the mo! Couldn't make the E38 day, had a bit of a family emergency so had to put things on hold unfortunately.

So what you got planned for the C then? When she getting shlamed!

Oh well, was good show, the westside boys had some very nice cars

Plans for the C, is, get it looking mint, it hasn't be washed in months! I've got a few bits to fit, exhaust etc.. but first things first, it needs a good service..

as for the slam, I can't wait  hopefully if i play my cards right in the next few wks!

  5. as above, some of you folks maybe aware, I've been in the Ford scene for nearly 9 years! and some of you had seen my old car, but hey, I finally after over 2months of timewasters, I sold it Friday nite, local guy had fallen for it a while ago, and was after it for ages!!

anyway, went to E38 in the morning (y'day) and the picked up the C about 6.30 lastnite, got home just after 9, all I can say is for a car to be standing for over a month, not been driven at all, it was a real nice drive home!! plus it started first time!! :D

Let the mods begin...
