Good work, that is amazingly clean in there,
It seems to me that only merc and bmw (mostly)can design decent long lasting chains and guides

It sounds like you possibly have an imobilser fault, assuming you have a later car with the chip in the key,
-
Shame that you are not going to get out in it much this year, still looking stunning :)
Apart from someone has nicked your centre caps ;)
-
Thanks for the pics, the blue Rado in the first batch is someone on here I think.
Nice weather again for it :)

Very nice :thumbleft: I have a picture very much like the 4th one at Castle Coombe.
Is yours Diamond black?

Out of interest, are there differences between early and late regulators ?
I have a pair from an early car but not much point keeping them if they don't fit my car.
-
The spacers make a worthwhile difference :)
-
Very nice, lucky boy to have this and the Corrado :)
-
Looks lovely, wheels suit the car nicely & stunning interior :thumbleft:

Very nice

If you can get to the regulator cable, 'snip' it and then the window should drop down to gain access to bolts
-
One for me please :)

Nice find, healthy bhp too :thumbleft:

Bargain :)

I bought the Topran kit from eBay, it leaked...
Sent it back for a refund and put it towards genuine parts. All good now :)

I've had a couple of mk2,s and they both suffered around the windscreen seal and front crossmember, also outer sills.
Thing is they are at least 25yrs old now so just check everywhere !
Or wait for a Corrdado :)
I think it fair to say they are a bit less prone to corrosion

Looks just right :thumbleft:

Looks nice Rog, good luck with it :)

Been to this a couple of times, unfortunately can't do it this year :(
-
Glad to see you got it done at last Sean :)
-
Yeah I know it's fun lol so will it work with the late spec motor on the the early cassette yeah :scratch:I have a feeling that that the early cassettes are different and won't work with late motors.

Just been to drive the Z4MC, chassis felt lovely and tight, steering was excellent, gearbox was really notchy, engine felt really flat though, not zingy like my 330's 3.0, very disappointed tbh, felt slower than the Corrado for sure, could have been the vanos wasn't working. Nice cabin.Sounds like my experience of an e46 m3, hated the manual box, found the engine noisy and whiney and felt it was just over-rated. Much prefer my 330i sport auto
Might be worth you test driving another though, there is a nice looking red one in Wesr Sussex on pistonheads atm.

Yes, good work Rob :thumbleft:
My fuel tank was partially sprayed with wax! so a right pain to get looking nice, still got a lot more to get off yet the underside floor too .

Can't see it being that necessary on a low miles garaged car tbh.
