  1. Great find on the VSR :) The number plate and wheel change threw me for a minute Nice 8)
  2. I think the main problem with using one daily is it would become less special and less of a ‘treat’ to drive Especially without the modern refinements of air con etc I use mine very little these days but really enjoy it when I can
  3. Got a fresh Mot today 8) Grand total of 800 miles since last one !
  4. The timing chain would only really be an issue if the timing has jumped a tooth or 2 Reasonably easy to check if they know what they are doing ?
  5. Not sure what your fault may be but maybe check fuel filter and fuel pressure at injector rail ? Spotted your car the other day in Lovedean btw, looking very good :)
  6. Options are limited and probably expensive unfortunately A rebore / rebuild will cost in excess of £3k plus the cylinder head A second hand engine will probably require a rebuild unless you are very lucky and find something decent 24v conversions aren't straight forward Good luck anyway :(
  7. Hi mate I have one Can WhatsApp or e mail pics if interested
  8. Have a good one :)
  9. It is a properly awesome thing thanks Chris Noise, performance and handling + 4 seats which is great with the family They don’t photograph particularly well, look much more interesting in the flesh Very lucky to keep the Corrado too That will always be the keeper 8)
  10. A couple of outings in the Corrado this year so far, Stanford Hall back in early May and last weekend Deutchfest at Brands Hatch where a few of us got to enjoy a couple of parade laps around the circuit courtesy of Vw Heritage 8) A good day out and Jez & I won a little award in the Show & Shine. Very nice :) Also picked up a new stablemate for the Corrado 8) Some of you may remember my last M car, the e46 which I regretfully sold my last Vr6 to buy and then subsequently didn't enjoy the Bmw, sold it soon after and found myself the current Corrado. That was 4 years ago and in that time I hankered after another M3 but didn't want to sell the Corrado but after much grovelling to the wife she allowed me to get this E92. My main dis-like of the E46 was actually the manual gearbox, found the clutch heavy & the box clunky. No such problem with this E92 though as it has the DCT box which is excellent :) Owned the car for a month now and loving it, a superb machine 8)
  11. Had a good day out here yesterday, though not a great turnout of Corrados or cars and spectators in general, maybe today will be busier. Highlight was a couple of parade laps of the circuit , really good 8) Vw Heritage put a lot of effort into the event and I think it was enjoyed by everyone Bonus also Jez and myself won an award in the Show and Shine comp, some cleaning gear and a little plaque, well worth the effort as it was free entry too :)
  12. Really don’t like football Luckily Tour de France starts soon :) :)

  15. I would be wary, seems very cheap I fitted a Febi Bilstein kit to mine, cost around £200
  16. I have used my wife’s Facebook and ‘think’ I have entered Noticed it’s alongside Deutschfest, went to this last year A good day out :)
  17. Hi Michael It might be worth you sitting in the back of the car with someone else driving, if you hold the top of the strut while driving along you might be able to feel the clunk which could be in the strut itself. That’s if you trust anyone to drive your car!! :)
  18. I can bring them to Harewood if you want Chris :) :)

  24. I would definitely choose the Audi Volvo is not a bad car but driving experience is way better with the Audi Volvo has a ridiculously bad turning circle too
