  1. Didn't Chris Langdon hint towards selling his moonlight vr ?
  2. You might have it a bit easier then Chris, mine snapped at front of sub frame
  3. Always worth a bit of heat on there too
  4. Was it your passenger side that snapped ? It's usually that side & the drivers side is often ok because it's protected by the sump & the heat from it prevents so much corrosion
  5. Nasty ! I did that & it took ages to get it out.I used an air powered saw & a bare hacksaw blade to cut through the bolt on the far side of the bush, with the wishbone off I drilled a hole in the remainder of the bolt & then mig'd a 6mm bolt into it ,unscrewed & luckily it came out. At least you have the sub frame out which will make it easier.good luck
  6. I used to have a mk2 Golf on which only the o.s track arm was adjustable & the n.s was solid. Perhaps some of the early Corrado's were the same ? You would definitely adjust both sides equally though to keep steering wheel aligned
  7. Very nice indeed, What is the bhp from that ?
  8. I have a e46 330 sport touring auto as my daily & love it,really nice to drive & a quality thing, although a bit more common on the road think they are much better for reliability, though the TT's are quite nice I would avoid the DSG's & potential big garage bills that can occur with them
  9. I have a g60 alternator,not sure of ampage. Can check Monday for you.£20 if interested.Located in Hampshire PO8
  10. 20 ltr containers is a good way to buy it. Bargain !

  12. The Platinum is 5w40-fully synth .silver is just called synta 10w40 now
  13. Probably the best way to judge how good the bores/rings are will be how much oil it uses over time, though low emissions are a good start !
  14. I've never been keen on the Mk2 Scirroco, the Mk1 looks much better imo. But i found the driving position in both not nice at all.
