Hey Bill, pics looks at bit more pokey than in the flesh, wheels are 17x 8" ET35 from memory, will be running 205/40/17 tyres so should all sit well hopefully! :)Here's mine with an 8" ET27 RS, you're right without tyres and up in the air they look too wide!

well the usual thing with insurance companies is an argument about what you can currently obtain an equivalent vehicle for, usually involving sample adverts to prove what is out there for the money versus any book prices they have, very difficult as yours is such low mileage, so I'd roughly guess-timate around the 4-5 grand mark.---------- Post added at 01:58 PM ---------- Previous post was at 01:57 PM ----------
eh?! how does that work?
Agreed value is different than a general market valuation and applies to cars of genuine merit and must be demonstrated as such to the insurers satisfaction.

I suspect more Storms have survived than any other model, I would imagine 1 in 4 of every remaining VR6 is a Storm

you can have the tool

Do you have the lockers and tool for the caps, might have a new tool somewhere. (found it!)

I think that on such a well behaved and moderated forum that it was a real shame it was felt there was a need to change. It really has spoiled the dynamic process and its hard to follow. How about leave new system for one off or infrequent posters, ie selling only but for regular trusted contributors use the traditional system

looks that way

well today i raised the car 40mm as its was just to low for me, then just gave it a really good wash and wax and then it rained all day.on my to do list is.
1, sell/swap the borbets, do like them but only if the car is low and i dont like them very very low.
2, change the storm single wiper to 2 normal wipers, gonna be difficult as the washer jet holes on the bonnet have been smoothed.
3, take off the swg scuttle panel and fit standard ones,
4, fit some better suspension as i'm 40 years old and the FK's that are on the car are just to firm/bouncy for my likening.
5, start looking at ways of making it faster lol
And also forgot how much attention Corrados get when your driving them around, and had sooooo many compliments on the cars condition, so for that Nathan can take the praise.
And the OBD2 is just great it idles so smoothly and the throttle response is so much more responsive.
Liking this car more more i drive it
Sounds like a very appropriate plan of action all round.

Rob as well as rolling them try to get them pulled a few mm too whilst keeping the factory line, they are inboard of vertical as standard so you can pull beyound the vertical for a mild flare. Very OE looking but better scope for wheel clearance.

No worries they're long gone now, Andy had them on C5OEM and he sold them, soon to grace a Jetta I believe. I do have my stock RS 301s though... and Comp MOs... and BBS CH.. and OE Speedlines LOL
