  1. Looks nice Karl, they're a great car, excellent car with unrivalled interior. Far better proposition for daily duties than a Corrado if you want hassle free ownership. Hit it with the lowering stick, late grill and up the power, sorted

  2. As the end of the year closes upon us thought it would be nice to revisit some of the Corrado forum contributors highlights for 2010. So lets hear about your favourites with some supporting comment.

    1 Favourite thread

    2 Best show

3 Favourite forum Corrado of 2010 (3 choices each)

4 Best supplier (garage, services or parts etc)

My intial thoughts up to now

1 Butlers DIY Storm revamp, great progress :salute:

2 Very difficult as several were memorable but British Volkswagen Festival just pips it.

3 Kevhaywires superb turbo daily. High spec high speed daily built to be driven :salute:

Judiths Storm. Continued progress to creating a superbly presented stock concours car, surely now hot on Kip's heels

Kip VRs Storm R32. Proof that custom doesn't always mean gimmicks just quality.

4 DG Autotech. Genuine enthusiasts developing and supplying superb Corrado solutions

    Lets hear yours

  3. Car Power Weight Power per tonne

    Golf R32 MK4 237 bhp 1552 kg 152.7

    Golf R32 MKV 247 bhp 1594 kg 154.95

    Corrado VR6 190 bhp 1240 kg 153.22

    210 bhp 1240 kg 169.35

    212 bhp 1240 kg 170.96

    215 bhp 1240 kg 173.39

My crude calculations show power increases should prove worthwhile

  4. That would be very interesting especially with a stock car in the mix, you can do it in a range of scenarios too, different speeds, gears rolling standing etc real world evaluation would be good. Do you have any idea of the power figures for yours Jim.

  5. I would be really interested in hearing more about these and all the relevant performance details and data, pretty confident the DG guys will have researched it thoroughly and come up with another great product. A comparison with the stock and the benchmark performance upgrade SP263s would be very interesting.

Thats 25 different colours! Some are obviously pretty rare but with c 9,000 UK registered Corrados of all models throughout its production there surely can't have been any more than 50% of them VR6s? (anyone got any accurate figures?) Which means that with 25 different paint codes every colour must be available on only a limited number of cars, were all these colours available on UK cars?. Assuming (incorrectly) an equal distribution there would be only 180 cars in each colour. In reality however some are very rare such as Khaki Pearl Effect Paint, Jasmin Yellow (if any) and not forgetting the 6 Dusty Mauve Campaigns

Have we got an example of a VR6 in every colour here on the forum? Pics please and thoughts. Will update with smiley for example of each colour :salute:
