They are great mate they should have come standard on the storms in my opinion+1 on that :D
Not happy with just a couple of badges then

Been wondering this for a little while. My v5 has registration date as 2-1-1996. Can only assume it one one of the last made?Certainly a late registered car. Did production not cease by August 95?

Great to see a thread on the members gallery. Stunning car! you simply can't beat the RS 301 and Recaro formula to turn a great car into one of the very best. This car is among the handful of Corrados I truly love.

Doesn't look like a BBS brochure simply the dealer wheel options brochure. Votex is the name often used for VW and Audi option wheels but a number manaufacturers make the wheels such as Ronal, BBS and Speedline

Is the item listed as the spring the part for the tailgate? Could I ask how much it is?

try PWMotorsport

I'm very interested in the 70mm spoiler, could you start up a group buy thread in the appropriate section to see if you can get enough interest to get this to go ahead. Sounds like the perfect compromise between the good looking but damage prone 90mm and the totally underwhelming safe 50mm item :salute:

Stop messing about, plain badges in VW standard chrome or black. Its overkill to customise all aspects of the car. Less is more

I'm sure its the right decision, what price did it come out at John?
-
except in Crazy Daves of course.

Thanks apologies, please delete

Following on from the starter motor discussion is there any chance of a price and part no. for a genuine VAG VR6 starter motor, thanks
-
Are we certain the starter from the 2.3 litre V5 will be more powerful than the VR6 starter? The R32 starter suggests a more pwerful motor?
-
I am of the same understanding John. What I learnt suggested they are a more powerful direct replacement. Something i'm looking to do but ideally want a new genuine item so could do with confirmation of compatibility, year and best price.

You are right in thinking that as the owner and insured party the wife will have to decide
a That he took the car without her consent (the offence of Unlawful Taking of a Motor Vehicle) He would be prosecuted.
b She permitted him to take the vehicle despite being uninsured and not holding a licence (Use, cause or permit the use of the vehicle) In which case she would be prosecuted.

Good news, he'd promised to look after forum members.

I used green bulbs in mine and they are spot on and MOT friendly too. I bought stock clear bulbs and painted them with green stained glass paint from a hobby shop

Hope you enjoy it, welcome to the forum

90mm spoiler?

Just check for the console Storm badge. Its the only unique feature to the Storm thats hard or expensive to source.

Kev, saw your reply on Pat Mc Crotch's thread about an upgrade you were thinking of for the 288mm brakes, an upgrade that will still fit under the Speedlines? Sounds interesting! Are you not going to run the APs again? Would they sit behing BBS RS 301s? :norty: Thanks
