take a look on the inside of the drivers side door, there should be a plate there with a list of pressures required for both front & rear loaded & unloaded. I think all German cars have 'em there.

cheers m8, just been round to Halfords they had some 21" Bosch in stock £23.99 for the pair OUCH!! Any Idea what sizes I need? The drivers side arm came with a 19"?

So I decided to replace my chrome free VW badge with a nice new shiny one, popped the old one off and now I' try to pop the new one in it doesn't seem to clip in right. Any tips?? thank y'all in anticipation Chris

aye thats right, but some peeps recommend 2 x drivers side to stop the passenger side from fouling the bonnet. I ordered one of each as its not big deal if i can't lift the wiper off and should get a bigger area covered. According to the main stealer the new drivers side part number comes with a wiper blade??? Dunno what the part number is though

typical, the drivers side arms are on back order, gotta wait at least two weeks according to the main stealers :(

I have recently noticed a strong smell of petrol in the cabin. It only smells when I drive not when at rest, anyone got any idea's? I have discovered a perished pipe (see pic) anyone know what this is for? Could this be my problem?

there's no lack of power or any excessive engine noise I suspect seels are more likely I guess a compression test would show if it were rings / pistons?

Anyone have any ideas how to cure my smoking VR6? Tends to smoke a lot if booted, or when pulling away after using engine to brake? 110,000 miles?
