  3. I reckon he will get in touch. After all the original owner of mine tracked me down! LOL  Cant imagine you ever forget and regret buying a Corrado. Regret selling maybe..
  4. Keep at it mate will be hard work Im sure but you get the satisfaction of knowing that you brought a Corrado back from the brink! Think you are probably finding out that you can buy a cheap Corrado but very rarely do you get a true bargain, doesnt take much wrong to make the £ signs spin  As i said though you have a good project on the go and sure you are learning loads about the car as you go. Look forward to seeing your updates and following your progress :salute: Matt
  5. Bleedin hell what had the previous owner been doing, rescuing sea birds from oil spills! Sounds a bit simple but WD40 is the best thing I have used to remove marks from trim. Works on leather as well if your careful. Good luck with it all, hard work now but be worth it in the end Im sure 8)
  6. That exhaust sounds nice! Cant stop bloody looking at this now you lucky bugger  Fancy bringing it along to a Corrado meet in Derby area if we get one together Easter time?
  7. Cheers mate Got a ways to go before its up to your standard, but not sure I have the time, money or patience for that  Be nice to get the chassis sorted this year though, that will keep me happy enough :) Looking forward to seeing yours on the all silver BBS 8) Matt
  8. Bloody hell Tom you have been busy! I know where to come when my matrix goes then. Along with begging bowl, fist full of tenners and crate of beer  Wish I had the balls to tackle a few more jobs. Sure I could do 80% of them but there is just that niggling doubt at the back of my mind  So fair play to you, really are doing the C proud. Coming on in leaps and bounds and it wasnt exactly tired before! 8) Any plans for wheels and/or suspension? Oh if you havent seen me around in mine much, I dont work in Matlock anymore. Moved on over to Alfreton  Have to have meet up when weather is bit better Matt
  9. Ooo Shef that is good. Powdercoating would be the icing on the cake???
  10. Ha ha fair play. You did well though to decide on what you wanted yesterday and find the exact spec one today! I will go £5800 after a bit of negotiation
  11. Dont follow the crowd!
  12. That was quick! LOL Looks like a nice one though, good find
  13. Well you have to keep on top of the regular upkeep and maintenance, even more so as a daily! So respect to you. Easter sounds good for a meet, will look fwd to it mate
  14. You getting a bit bored Shaun and changing for changes sake  :D Looks great though, like the smooth rear. Matt
  15. Hey buddy. Well your car is certainly coming on a bit now! 8) Anymore plans for the near future? Defo up for a meet sometime, how about Carsington resevoir or something?
  16. try saving it as a jpeg rather than bmp or whatever
  17. Is there something wrong with yours then as within 5 mins of mine running it's like a sauna. I don't think I have been in any other car thats has blowers which are hotter  Was just going to say the same  VR is one hot block
  18. Where are you based? Matt
  19. what are/where they? S3's?
  20. Bit bigger mate. Was thinking 2.5 inch slashed steel in similar style to the below (not rounded off)
  21. Looking at them I would say they have been rubbing badly on the arches
  22. Good stuff glad to hear that. Not surprised your happy with your motor though  I actually quite like the round exhaust. Dont know, but the oval design seems too fat for the Corrado rear some how. Probably go for a slightly smaller slashed stainless design next though.
  23. Be a good and different alternative to a 540i or M5... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-ALPINA-B10-V8 ... 20af046e12
  24. Yup you have ruined any ideas of me ever getting an 'under powered' 5 Series Pete
  25. Hi, mate If I dont sell it, store it, or put it back to std that is certainly something i would consider  What do you reckon about the ABT's? I certainly like the 90's feel of them. How you getting on without a Corrado? Matt
