  11. excellent. thanks rob & fendervg :) i thought they might attach from the rear side but must admit i hadn't given it a little pull first lol much appreciated oh & nice to know someone else has one of them - i wonder if anyone who likes to keep their rado 'as factory' would have any interest in them?
  12. Hi everyone i need to change the matrix in my early valver soon, hoping for a warm weekend at some point lol i have a good guide but my valver has the optional cassette tape storage thing in the centre console - same place the VDO gauges fit does anyone know how these are removed without damaging it? i have very rarely, if ever, seen another rado with one fitted thanks in advance :)
  13. ahh, no sorry my jubilance was cause you had found the l/h quarter i have a feeling you may need to order the complete section & use what you need. unless you can see the smaller section on there somewhere
  14. winner winner chicken dinner :D
  15. Haritage can supply anything listed on the classic parts site the link i posted you goes straight to the exterior section where the repair panels are held. im sure ive seen a rear arch section on there either find & give the part number to anna or im sure she will help you if you struggle FYI takes about 2-3 weeks for the part to arrive normally
  16. hello try here http://shop.volkswagen-classic-parts.de/vwcp/scirocco-corrado/corrado/body/exterior/ find your required body panel & then get in touch with VW Heritage. AnnaVR6 on here works for them so you can contact her by PM Heritage can take your order but save you £'s a plenty on the delivery as they will get it from classic parts Germany on your behalf & then ship it to you i used them for a sill repair section & whereas classic parts wanted 90 euro or something to deliver, the part was above heritage's free delivery amount & thus cost me no delivery
  17. ha ha ha that's kinda the response when the thread about them on ebay was posted lol
  18. its not ground to a halt, just that it is taking the person time to get right, i believe it is still progressing there were some for £400 on ebay ;) lol nice mileage by the way
  19. you have no idea how angry i was about it all when we drove off but hey ho i ended up with an unmolested lovely blackberry purchased from a guy who had loved & cherished it as he was a huge car fan (with a mint stratos in the garage)
  20. indeed Hasan, it was awful. i would warn anyone not to even consider them! you are right about others too, im sure there was a thread in the buyers section about such i forgot.... the VR i got in 2009 with a tad over 94K - it is now on around 164K the valver i had from 2000 to approx. 2007, cant recall milage, & then brought back in 2014 and ive done about 400 miles since
  21. yeah 250 was the minimum for homologation as you say. i wonder what they were like to drive
