  14. very cool! impressive company indeed Jim nice to hear a reasonable target price of £4-6K too :D is that a forum car as well, I recognise the number plate but not sure if the starting letter was an N or not....actually, think it was an E? EDIT: no, im sure it was E57ORM on here
  15. if you believe it would be safe & legal to drive a car with the bonnet on its safety catch alone then no offence but it is not even worth the time typing a response to your above reply
  16. it would be an issue for both the driver & general public if the bonnet flipped up & caused the driver to not be able to see a danger to themselves, others on the road & potentially pedestrians im fairly confident the police would have something serious to say about it
  17. I doubt a safety catch would be strong enough to keep the bonnet down when driving along though - wind tends to have a lot of force at speed ;) lol

    Late Grill

I believe it is to do with the countries in which they were sold the 'fully open slots' version was for warmer climates & the 'half blocked slots' version was for colder climates kind of like a winter grill & summer grill, where the open slot version lets more air through to the radiator not sure why many UK rados ive seen have the closed version though (which my VR does)
  19. welcome - make yourself at home :)
