did a compression test this morning top right 145 top mid 120-5( could be slightly lower) top left 145 bottom left 120-5 bottom mid 145 bottom right 145 seems they are within range threshold got lots of oil popping out the rocker cover and got soot in the exhaust, does that help in a diagnosis? Also got some sooty spark plugs. Luckily i have a spare rocker cover gasket.

I need everything that is in the picture at the top, the PCV valve on mine has been deleted and bodged together into the elbow via a straight line pipe
-

Hi there I'm after this, to see if it fixes a problem I'm having. Anyone got one laying about?
-
Were those wooden seats optional extras, never seen those before. Someone will snap these up quick :)
-
thanks sean, i meant i don't have a pcv valve at all, someones done a delete bung job
-
I've also noticed i don't have a pcv... ffs. This could explain my oil smoke issue *straw clutch*
-
Yes block end I thought so too Ok, will do, it actually looks like the wires have come out the plug, i'll see if I can put them back somehow
-
Had a look under the bonnet this morning to check for mayo and found these wires and what looks like a missing plug (just to the left of my finger. Is that correct? If so, does anyone have a spare plug/picture of this area on their car? :) Sorry it is caked in grime, this behaviour is not befitting of a corrado.

Hi all, Took the car for a drive this weekend, after gliding downhill for about 2 miles into Dover and coming to a stop at some lights, I noticed some blue smoke on takeoff and could also smell it in the cabin. Any clue what this could be? I've searched and found that it could be valve seals or pistons or anything. To further complicate it, I had to reverse up a steep hill and after giving some good revs it puffed out white smoke followed by a little blue smoke. A friend thinks this could be oil in the intake burning off. I haven't topped the oil up as it's only last month gone in for a service. I'm hoping this could be that they put a thin oil in but that may be wishful thinking. Cheers Ian

Thanks for this, I really appreciate it. Next to find a surround to butcher!
-
Is this the correct one, it looks very similar to the corrado one albeit with no surround. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HEATED-SEATS-SWITCH-1998-MK1-FORD-GALAXY-/151840636182?hash=item235a683d16:g:R2QAAOSwMmBV6~-o
